We stayed here for 9 nights and absolutely loved it. The spa is amazing! And we were in it nearly everyday to take a break from the sun. Stayed from the 2-11th of September and was very hot! Staff very friendly. We looked it up and for a local to use the spa it was around 90 euros a day so the fact that this is included in your stay is great. Obviously you need to pay if you wanted a massage but the facilities are free to use. We particularly enjoyed the ice plunge pool.
The hotel does cater to Germans (we’re Irish) but this didn’t bother us and we found them quite pleasant to speak to and we did hear English, Scottish and American accents around too. The main guy who does be at most breakfasts and dinner makes an effort to find out your nationality and always says hello to you in your own language. Something I wouldn’t expect but a nice touch and shows the effort they put in to make you feel welcome.
The food was excellent and we looked forward to going down to dinner every evening. There was something different every night! They tend to repeat a few things after 7 days but we still had a bit of variety and were very impressed. It was very convenient to not have to look for somewhere to eat every evening and saved a lot of time. It would be nice at breakfast to have more Irish or English influenced meats as the german sausages are a bit rich first thing in the morning but I understand this might be difficult to implement. They still provided eggs in any form you wanted (chefs on site cooking), pastries, cereal, fruit, fresh pancakes etc. They basically had everything you would expect at a hotel buffet.
The only suggestion I’d make is at breakfast to have more staff available or a different system for the tea/coffee. I understand it is hard to get hotel staff in general but my only reason for this is first you’ve to try to get the attention of someone for coffee/tea (at dinner as soon as you sit down they come straight down to you for drinks, not as efficient at breakfast) and when the coffee does come the mugs are very small, only getting about two to three mouthfuls of coffee and it’s all you’ll get during breakfast unless you get their attention because it can get busy.
I stayed in a hotel before where the staff went around with jugs of coffee constantly filling up the mugs and I think this would be a much better idea. It’s puts a lot of pressure on staff when there’s only 2-3 of them on tea/coffee duty for the amount of guests during peak times. I think it’s a little unfair on them as they’re trying their best. This however didn’t put a dampener on our stay but just worth noting if you’re a bit of a coffee addict like myself! Obviously subjective.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday and would definitely return to this hotel. A mixture of age groups staying there but it would cater more towards an older crowd (but still a bit of a buzz in the evening with some entertainment). We’re a couple in our mid twenties and we were happy out. We had booked the Riu bravo before this and changed due to bad reviews. We paid 18 quid extra for this hotel and I feel like we got a lot more bang for our buck. If you want a mix between relaxation and a few nights out this is definitely the hotel for you. You’re within walking distance to the strip but far enough away to be able to choose when you want the craziness or not. I wouldn’t even say it’s a four star but more of a 4.5 pushing to 5 if they did some minor improvements. There is tennis, bike rental etc available you just have to ask reception. There is also a 24hr doctor on call. We booked the hotel via Tui and everything went smoothly. Thank you for such a pleasant and relaxing stay, we will be back😊
P.s get one of their mojitos at the pool bar, you...
Read moreLet's start by saying that I have never experienced so much negativity in a hotel in just two days—rudeness from the staff, threats, bans, and restrictions. I am traveling with my family, including a 4-year-old child. We were forbidden to play with a small ball in the children's pool, use a swimming ring, or feed the child fruits—twice a girl from the bar came up and forbade us from eating cherries in an ultimatum-like manner. The absurd ban on inflatable mattresses in the large pool is also a first for me. However, smoking by the pool is allowed, even though it is explicitly prohibited by current Spanish law. We were denied the substitution of fries with a vegetable salad in the burger we ordered. Today at breakfast, the cook making the omelets told me that I couldn't have an omelet with cheese because the cheese needed to be cut, and he was busy peeling cucumbers. I waited for 5 minutes while he finished with the cucumbers, cut the cheese, and made the omelet. But the climax of my negative experience was the conflict at the large pool yesterday. I was humiliated by the bar staff. They refused to serve me, claiming that I had brought my own bottle of wine to the pool. However, I had bought this bottle of wine at the bar just two hours earlier, and a staff member (possibly from another shift) had brought it to my spot by the pool in an ice bucket. But the girl insisted that this could not be truth and that it was forbidden to drink wine from a glass bottle by the pool. I presented her with the bucket and the bottle that had been served from the bar earlier. Then the bartender, Dani, ran over to my spot by the pool, waving his hands, shouting, and insulting me. Later, two managers, Sebastian and Gatzi, who barely spoke English, came out to the bar to resolve the conflict. But to my surprise, they did not delve into the details of the situation, merely repeating the nonsense that I had bought the bottle of wine in a store and brought it to the pool, and stating that there were nothing wrong with the staff behaviour, repeating their favorite phrase "No possible” to every single word I was saying. When I told them I would file a complaint, they just laughed in response. Then I went to the reception desk to ask for the managers' surnames. Firstly staff refused to provide them explaining that writing complaints is pointless because if these people(managers) said I was wrong, then that it is the way it is and i need to accept it. But I will definitely write about your hotel's work style on all possible platforms. It is clear to me why guests are leaving the hotel in the evening in search of adequate places to have dinner. But it’s hard for me to understand how a hotel worth hundreds of millions investments is held hostage by the staff and tolerates such an attitude towards guests. By the way, many reviews confirm this. You won't see such rudeness anywhere else. The staff assert themselves at the expense of the clients, with the silent consent of...
Read moreMy recent stay at this Mallorca hotel was absolutely wonderful in every way imaginable! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful hotel grounds and its excellent value for the experience it offers.
The hotel's amenities were truly top-notch. Let's start with breakfast - it was a real treat! They offered a wide variety of options, from freshly squeezed orange juice to the delicious, freshly made pancakes. It was the perfect way to kickstart each day of my vacation.
The pool area was another highlight of my stay. It was not only beautiful but also spacious, ensuring that there was always room to relax and unwind. Whether you wanted to take a refreshing dip or simply soak up the sun, the pool area had you covered.
I decided to try the cocktails at the hotel pool bar, and I was thoroughly impressed. The bartenders were skilled and friendly, and they crafted some truly exceptional cocktails. It was the perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring Mallorca.
Speaking of exploration, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's just a short 10-15 minute drive to the airport, making my arrival and departure hassle-free. If you're in the mood for some beach time, you're in luck because it's only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. And for any last-minute needs or snacks, there's a supermarket conveniently located just around the corner.
But what truly made my stay memorable was the attentive and welcoming staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my visit, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.
All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy all that this beautiful island has to offer. I can't wait to return and experience the same warmth, luxury, and value that this hotel provides. Highly recommended to...
