Restaurante Atenas — Restaurant in Palma

To begin with the food was not good at all, it had a bad taste and not worth the price. You don’t get any sides with the food, it has to be ordered separately. BUT the worst thing is that the waitress was rude and blamed us for not liking the food. I said I wanted to order something else because I didn’t like the food, and the second dish I ordered was equally as bad as the first. When asking for the check, the waitress noticed the second dish was barely eaten from, and that’s when she gives attitude and asked me if I was pregnant. Not acceptable behavior!

Edit: As a responsen to the owner: my partner only had ONE plate from your buffet and he indeed did not find the food satisfying. The meat was too salty and the salad was old and covered in feta. I found the mousaka not good, not about the spices but just overall not good tasting and not resembling authentic Greek food- in my opinion. We never asked you to not charge us for any of the food we ordered. I am not a food critic, so I don’t have to give any reason to the waitress as to why I wanted to order something else. The waitress asked me if I didn’t like the mousaka and to that I replied no, I dont like it. I think you should talk to you staff about how to handle costumers that are not satisfied, it’s not acceptable for the staff to give attitude and comments such as “are you sure” when ordering a second dish because I didn’t like the first dish, and me wanting to give the restaurant a second try with...

One of the main reasons we visited this restaurant was because it seemingly had good reviews. Unless the management has changed recently, I find these positive reviews hard to believe.

When we arrived, no one greeted us to show us to a table. After waiting 10 minutes we went to a table by ourselves (maybe this is normal there? If so they should have a sign asking people to seat themselves)

After sitting down, we couldn't get any attention from the waiters so we had to go to bar to ask someone to come and serve us. Waiters seemed to ignore most people. The serving sizes were good, and it was presented well enough, but the food tasted very average, the meat was dry and the salmon overcooked. The prices were reasonable, but i expected better quality food.

The waiter who took our order was so unprofessional, when we were ordering he wasn't listening, when we asked about the menu items he was trying to make jokes instead of answering, they try scamming us with the bad and flat cola, with no taste or bubbles. After we complained we got fresh bottle cola which should have been from start. I ordered my food with rice and he brought fries instead and when I told him that I ordered it with rice he told me that it's extra then, first after I asked for the menu card, where it says it's included he accepted. The rice which is with tomato sauce, taste like nothing. The burger we ordered was without any dressing and fries without any dipping so, that was a pretty dry experience and a big disappointment.
