Amrum Beach Club — Restaurant in Palma

The above the road far away logo and the rhythmic music attracted me before I arrived that morning.

After turning around a green park, a front line large lounge, intertwined with tables and their chairs, unrolls along the turquoise water beach with golden sand and kilometres long palm trees alley.

Old fashion tunes, beginning of eighties, and then mostly german tainted, remember and then trigger my passage in this wide chiringuito compromising for the masses.

The tea I ordered got well served in its hot water pot. Its perfumes generously invaded my cup enough intensively to lead me back to the postal card quasi from the Caribbean sea view, just embracing each visitor for its best time on the island.

Quickly served, quickly got the bill, as often in the Balearic Islands, little patience was needed to get the change.

After mini golf me and and Boyfriend decided to stay for cocktails so we got a table and one of the guy came and took our order. There was 2 free table next to us, after 5 minutes there was a couple sat next to our table and order with the same guy after 10 minutes we still didn’t get our cocktails and after that there was a family come and sit not far away from us and did the same thing order with the same guy. After 15 minutes we’re still waiting for our cocktails but the couple who came 5 minutes after us got there orders. Its been 20 minutes and still nothing and the other family who came 10 minutes after us got there orders to. We decided to wait 10 more minutes if the drinks are not coming we’re leaving. Extremely disappointing experience at Amrum – not recommended at all. We visited Amrum hoping to enjoy a relaxing time with shisha and drinks. Unfortunately, what we received was far from acceptable. After waiting nearly 40 minutes, the shisha finally arrived – but with poor quality and half-lit charcoal.

To make things worse, we were asked to pay immediately, before even trying the shisha. When we politely mentioned that the charcoal wasn’t good and the shisha wasn’t working properly, the staff simply replied that they had no more coal and there was nothing they could do about it.

We ended up paying €40 for something that barely lasted 10 minutes.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. Poor quality, lack of professionalism, and zero customer care. I strongly advise others to avoid Amrum. There are many better...
