This was our third hotel check-in during our nine days in Majorca. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay for our few nights here. Check-in was pretty awful, not very friendly, very matter-of-fact, no help with bags, the hotel wasn't verbally introduced to us and the first thing I noticed in reception were paper signs stuck to the walls with sellotape advising guests about the ant problem vis-à-vis, food in rooms and the hygienic disposal of sanitary towels...(bit weird!)....but once that was out the way we got to know the place and started to enjoy it. Whilst polite enough, it does seem that most of the front of house staff are not overly happy working here...(although the room cleaning/maintenance staff were very nice)...they just seemed continually grumpy...trying to engage them in conversion was a bit like pulling teeth. Anyway, newly refurbished rooms are clean, beds and pillows comfortable with a gloriously powerful shower in the bathroom! Our corner facing balcony (room 105) was superb. Breakfast was limited to three opinions but they were freshly made and very well presented with decent yoghurt and fresh fruit, coffee and orange juice. They have a lovely bar and terrace here but the bar was never open, apart from one evening - so the hotel is essentially a morgue during the day and evenings. Pool facilities were good with lots of loungers..it's likely you'll have the place to yourself because of the beach. We would come back again and I would recommend it - it's basic but pretty good value.

This is not that we booked. It is a very small not really clean room. The bathroom is absolutely disguisting. Old, rusty tub with a bath curtain. Do we live in the 90s? The toilet is dirty and cannot clean the red stains from it. Why am I celaning it? 2 of 3 doors not working in the room. Cannot close or open these normally. There are no space for the clothes and suitcases. The room is full with ant. Only one small table for the TV. No refrigerator in a 35 degree room. The pool opens late and closing early. The breakfast is OK but the same 3 optional menu every morning. The restaurant, the hall and the first floor is ok. These are renovated. But the second floor... Worst room that I ever paid. Don't believe to the pictures. Look at my pictures!

Qué esperas encontrar en un hostal? Habitaciones compartidas? Limpieza mejorable?... :)

This was easiy the worst hotel we have stayed in. My partner has moblility issues particularly involving stairs. Imagine our horror to discover on arrival that we were allocated a room on the second floor and there was no lift. ¨Sorry, theres nothing I can do about it¨ said the very unhelpful receptionist. We were assured that the fact that there was no lift was stated on the website. Actually it is but it is in the terms and conditions as opposed to in the glowing description of the hotel and its amenities. A lesson learnt, look for what is not stated as opposed to what is stated. ||Having settled in to our tiny second floor room we decided to explore the local eateries. There are two within easy walking distance if you exclude the prohibitively expensive one just up the road. Both the others were excellent except that one closed their kitchen at 4pm and both shut one day a week. Any other optios involved a steep climb up 30-40 steps or a drive. Not an option for us. Even the beach, which was beautiful involved steep steps.||The hotel did indeed have a bar area, lounge and terrace but, because there was no catering available other than breakfast, very few people used these facilities so there was no atmosphere.||To be fair to at least one member of staff managed to move us from the second floor to the first floor, so only one staircase to negotiate. That was on day 4 of a 14 night stay. On day 13, whilst we were enjoying a lunch at one of the two accessible bar/restaurants we received a text from the hotel announcing that we had overstayed our booking and were to be charged 50 euros for a late check out. It was only after we returned to the hotel to prove our 14 day booking that we were permitted to stay for our alloted time and the poor people who were due to check into our room were diverted to a sister hotel in a different town.||I keep referring to the ¨hotel¨. This should read ¨hostal¨because that is what it was and still remains. It refers to itself as a boutique hotel. By definition that is a small luxury hotel. Small yes but luxury, absolutley no. ...

Disappointing Stay – Far from a True Boutique Hotel

The term “boutique hotel” has unfortunately become overused—and this property is a prime example. Despite the name, what we encountered was much closer to a budget 2-star hostel than a thoughtfully curated boutique experience.

To start, the noise levels were simply unacceptable. The walls are extremely thin, and we could hear every movement in the hallway: footsteps on the stairs, doors slamming and locking, and even conversations and television from neighboring rooms. Nighttime was particularly unpleasant, with loud, intoxicated guests singing and shouting—making it impossible to get a good night’s rest. This completely undermined our ability to relax and enjoy our vacation.

Cleanliness was another issue. The room, especially the bathroom, lacked the standard of hygiene we expected from a „Boutique Hotel“. We also experienced water leaking from the shower into the main area, and despite reporting this, the staff showed little interest in addressing the problem.

Breakfast was equally underwhelming. The offering was extremely basic, poorly presented, and reminiscent of what one might find in a low-budget hostel. If you wanted a proper coffee made from a quality machine, you had to pay extra. The free coffee was from a standard machine—and tasted accordingly.

Ultimately, we chose to cut our stay short by three nights and moved to another hotel. We received no offer of compensation or assistance from the management.

In summary, while the property may have undergone some superficial updates, these minimal renovations do not justify its classification as a “boutique hotel” or the price point at which it is marketed. Unless you are an exceptionally deep sleeper or simply do not value peace and quiet during your stay, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere—there are far better options on the island, often at equal or...

|-Bonne literie. Surtout quand on reste 7 jours.
