I don’t often write negative reviews, but unfortunately we didn’t have an amazing experience here. Overall, this restaurant has a great location, but the food is mediocre given the price and the service wasn’t very kind.

We made a reservation for an early dinner and arrived on time for our final night here in Mallorca. After waiting for a while, we were seated indoors at a very wide table that didn’t feel very private, right up against the bar and the door. The restaurant was quite empty, with five empty 2-person tables outside on the patio. We asked if we could please sit outside to enjoy the pleasant weather, plus we had a reservation, but were sternly told we could not. The meal was not bad, but the food was not salted well and was quite expensive - 60 euro for 3 starters, which we were expecting but would’ve liked more flavorful food for the price. We finished our meal an hour and a half later, but had to ask for the bill multiple times over 15 minutes before the servers were able to bring it (again, restaurant was not very busy). Upon leaving, the patio was still empty with four empty 2-person tables, which was a very disappointing thing to see.

Overall we didn’t feel very welcome here and it seemed we had upset the waiters somehow, and we’re not sure how. The food wasn’t amazing given the price either. This was a disappointing way to end our wonderful trip...

This gem of a restaurant is literally built into the rocks the descend to Cala Barques and is the best dining experience to be found there. As a foundation the food is amazing, could not be fresher and is prepared in a traditional and uncomplicated manner that is a joy to experience. They use fish knives which hints a class and style not often found today. Operational hours were limited so reservation is advised. As a solo diner I was blessed to get a table that could easily accommodate any of the parties subsequently turned away. In addition to the fantastic food, the warm and genuine service is a beacon in a world of bland and homogenised hospitality. My faith in Spanish hospitality restored, this dining experienced left me with a rare glow of satisfaction. For differing reasons this ranks as one of my top five dining experiences globally across many years. I would return here any time. An amazing...

We booked this restaurant last night for 7pm and by 8pm it was full, really great wee atmosphere. The staff were all lovely and great with their recommendations. They only made one mistake not bringing my starter at the same time as my wife's and when they did, it wasn't the right dish I ordered. That aside everything else service wise was great. I ordered grilled mussels, never heard of anyone grilling mussels previously. I wouldn't recommend this dish as if had very little garlic sauce, they were all very dry. From here on in, everything food wise was great. I had the Sea Bream and my wife had the Monkfish, both very generous portion sizes, really lovely. Both desserts were lovely to. Five glasses of red wine and sparkling water all for 131 Euros. Really pleased with that. Would I return, definitely. Beautiful setting, it's a must if you...

This was the final restaurant we visited on our holiday. I had high hopes given the reviews. While I can say the service and ambience was great. The food fell short. I’d stick to what they know best which looks like Paelas or rices as they had several on the menu. We ordered the sobrasada, scallops, shrimp croquettes, sirloin and lamb chops. The best item and only item I was truly satisfied with were the scallops pictured. The lamb should have been trimmed of the cartilage and seared better. the sobrasada bread was just okay. I wasn’t a fan of the shrimp croquettes, but that could just be a personal preference as they did look lovely.

We were lucky to visit this restaurant during our vacation on Mallorca and we had an amazing experience. Starting from delicious food, friending and helpful staff and wonderful view - all was top-notch. The prices are quite high but it was totally worth it. I still can’t forget wonderful apple pie I had for dessert. We will definitely come back when we will be visiting the island next time. Reservation is a must. Thank you for the wonderful evening!
