We visited this restaurant yesterday evening (June 27th) with friends, and unfortunately, we were treated with clear contempt from the very beginning. The waitress who served us – a blonde woman – seemed annoyed by our presence from the moment we asked for a table. She gave us condescending looks, spoke in a mocking tone, and made us feel completely unwelcome.
When we asked if we could split the bill, she reacted with visible irritation and confusion, as if we’d asked for something unreasonable. Our English isn’t perfect, but it was clear enough – still, she looked at us as though we were a nuisance.
As we began ordering, she rudely interrupted us to say “You must order drinks first”, even though the menu offered only alcohol, which we didn’t want. When we said no drinks, she openly laughed at us and continued with the same disrespectful attitude.
When we asked for a recommendation between two dishes, she shrugged and said “I don’t know”, put down her notepad, leaned against a nearby table with crossed arms, and said “Are you ready now?” – in the most unprofessional, impatient tone imaginable.
She didn’t even return with the bill – a much nicer male waiter had to finish the service.
The food was genuinely tasty, but the experience was ruined by the incredibly rude and arrogant behavior of this waitress.
No matter how good the food is, no guest should ever be treated this way. Truly...
Read moreThis restaurant is truly gem. The price-performance ratio is excellent – the food is not only delicious but also hearty and filling, and the portions are generous. Compared to other restaurants in the area, the prices are noticeably lower, yet the quality is just as good.
One of the things we really appreciated was the relaxed and guest-friendly atmosphere. Unlike many neighboring places where we had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for someone to assign us a table – despite the restaurant having multiple empty ones – and then often ended up being squeezed into a tight corner, here we were able to sit down right away. They let you choose your own table, and if a larger one like a four-seater is free, they’re happy to let you have it – no fuss at all. It really makes you feel welcome and valued as a guest, which is one of the main reasons we’ve come back so often.
The staff overall is incredibly friendly and kind. We especially want to highlight the blonde Belgian waitress – she’s an absolute gem. Warm, attentive, and genuinely sweet – she made every visit even more enjoyable.
Add to that the lovely view, and this place becomes one we can wholeheartedly recommend. We loved everything about it and would come back anytime...
Read moreThis place is amazing. After reading reviews, I was worried that the food would not be great but it was absolutely incredible. Me and my partner both shared tapas which was divine. It was so nice that we returned two days later (we are both foodies so value tasty food). Ignore all the negative reviews. Staff were lovely and friendly too. I would recommend the meatballs definitely, the ham croquettes and the garlic prawns especially. The patatas bravas come with a sauce that looks very similar to ketchup but I can assure you it is not. It is a spicy tomato bravas sauce which goes amazingly well with their aioli. Absolutely come here on your holiday, especially if you’re after tapas! Although it gets very busy so either turn up as soon as they open (18:45) or book in advance. The prices are also completely fair. We ordered 6 dishes each time and it came to €40 with 4 cokes, which I think is amazing value (compared to tapas in the UK)....
