Food is amazing if you can deal with incredibly rude waiter! Didn’t speak a word to us the entire time even to ask us what we’d like to eat or drink, just stood over us waiting for us to speak first. Didn’t get any response when we said thank you - even other customers were remarking and laughing at just how rude he was! We even overheard a gentleman ask for a recommendation to which he replied “I don’t know I don’t eat pizza!”. After finishing our delicious starters, (stuffed jalapeños) we placed our dirty cutlery on the plate to be taken away to which the waiter just threw it back in front of us. After we’d finished eating, we waited a good 10 minutes before our plates were taken away - the table next to us waited 20 at least! We noticed that he didn’t seem to act in the same way towards Spanish speakers, only to tourists.
It’s such a shame because the food is so delicious but the service...
Read moreA lot of reviews here focus on a rude waiter. I can only guess he was our 'host' because its been some time since I've encountered such atrocious service for anything I've chosen to pay for. A grumpy manner, however ill suited to one in the service industry, is for me easily ignored, perhaps even quite comical, so long as some basics of restaurant dining are covered. They weren't. I hadn't taken the last mouthful of my starter as he hung over me with the main course in hand, once the fork touched my lips the plate was snatched and the other slapped onto the table. My wife had placed her used cutlery on the plate, to which he murmured 'take the cutlery'. He clearly couldn't be burdened with the obviously complex task of providing a fresh set. The food? The pizza was good but its unfortunately an afterthought when rating the overall experience, which can only be considered...
Read moreJust wow… literally an experience that defies the limits of conventional gastronomy. Before you even taste anything, prepare yourself for some serious sass from the waiter. Not only is he a massive joker, he also ignores you for over an hour and finally takes your order after every other table has been served. Next, prepare yourself for an incomparable sensory experience for both the eyes and the mouth. Never before have I seen any pasta presented with a soggy cracker wedged into unseasoned chopped tomato sauce. Nor have I ever experienced a pasta ‘carbonara’ with such a lack of any ingredient normally present in a carbonara. To be fair, the pizza was ok and the meal probably one of the cheaper ones in town. Definitely would recommend paying slightly more for an enjoyable culinary experience and having a meal cooked by an...
