Our room was is 'Amapola' block (above shop). Apartment very outdated, not perfectly clean (what apartments are!) but clean enough I suppose for the time we actually spent in there.||||We overlooked the pool next door only to discover it belongs to Dunas Oasis Apartments (Apartmentos Dunaoasis), which was the apartment I wanted to book but unfortunately didn't realise there was 2 different accommodations on that street with very similar names!||||Very noisy there during the day with the shop being below and a walkway through to the Palm Beach Hotel which is directly behind these apartments.||||No air conditioning just a ceiling fan in the living area and a pedestal fan in the bedroom. Extra to be paid for Wi-Fi if needed and for the room safe.||||Though these apartments are in the perfect location, there are other apartments available for just the same cost which are in my opinion a better option.||||I originally booked to stay for 7 nights, granted that I didn't book the option to cancel/postpone but unfortunately due to Covid they did let me postpone but I had to change our reservation to 10 nights adding quite an extra cost onto the holiday. ||||With the issue of no sun loungers or kiosks available/open on the beach, it was quite frankly an uncomfortable experience to actually be on the beach (which is why we go to Maspalomas). We bought some small stools and a sun umbrella along with a chiller bag to go to the beach at a cost of approx. 40 euros only to have to leave them at the airport as we were not allowed to bring them home.||||We personally ended up booking other apartments (at the same cost per night) to be able to have a poolside and sun loungers to be a lot more comfortable for a few days at the end of of stay there. ||||Though I will say that the receptionist and cleaners are very helpful accommodating.||||I personally won't stay at these particular apartments again but that is not to say that...
Read moreYou couldn't beat these apartments for location and price, but to a great degree, you only get what you paid for. Some of the apartments have a decent balcony/terrace which get some sun, but ours was almost a basement with practically no sun at all on the terrace, and windows that opened directly onto a wall. It was very dark all day. The apartments were pretty clean if you didn't look too carefully into the corners , but the decor was very tired and definitely in need of a facelift. Our bathroom looked bigger than some of the pictures of other apartments, but if you put the shower on full volume the bathroom half flooded very quickly. We learned to control the flow to avoid this. The toilet needed to be flushed numerous times to clear it. The beds were comfortable and towels were changed every second day. The pool was very well kept but small, with only 6 or 7 sunbeds. Having said that we always managed to get one. I wouldn't go back unless they...
Read more3 couples, 3 apt’s . We arrived early and were given 3 old, dark, dirty apt’s, not the apt’s we had booked. I complained and was told u will have to stay 1 night and u will be moved tomorrow. I slept in my clothes. We had to wait til 12pm the next day .. new apt’s were better but needed freshening up. We stayed in sol block, apt 5, great balcony, apt very basic, 3 cups (white glass cups???) 3 glasses 3 forks etc, etc. Tv, beds were ok. Bathroom .. shower was so small you could only have a shower with the 2 doors open and then carefully turn around .. very disappointing . The apt was in a great location but was not worth e770 PW... i expected a much better standard of apt for the money , I would not recommend these apt’s .. and we wasted the first day and a half of our holiday being moved around. Not...
