I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grill El Toro, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff, and the cozy, rustic ambiance immediately set the tone for a delightful meal.

The menu at Grill El Toro is impressive, featuring a wide array of grilled specialties. I opted for the ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying sides were equally delicious, with the roasted vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes standing out as particular highlights.

While at first, El Toro may seem a somewhat unassuming beach restaurant, Don't Pass this one up. Without question the quality of the food and the attention of the staff far exceeds any of the other restaurants charging twice as much. We dinned one evening, at what we were told, was the finest steak house in Maspalomas. Somewhat pretentious in decor and presentation, we opted for the Chateaubriand. We were less than impressed. In reading another review that noted the quality of the Chateaubriand prepared by El Toro, we ordered it and have to say, without a doubt, it was the best we've ever enjoyed anywhere. Do not miss this if you are a steak lover. And, while they advertise their desserts, the cheesecake and the "special Tiramisu are beyond belief. I absolutely recommend this place: I ended up coming back to this place many times during my stay in Maspalomas, and each time was great. The menu offers a nice variety of Spanish tapas and traditional dishes, and everything I tried tasted freshly made—not pre-cooked or reheated, which I really appreciated.

The location is also a big plus: it’s right on the beach, with three different seating areas depending on what you’re looking for—by the sea, indoors (good if it’s windy), or on the shaded street-side terrace. It’s a smart setup and made every visit comfortable.

The service was consistently excellent, and I want to give a special shoutout to Diego and Houssam, who were especially friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was spot on.
