Stunning decoration, mediocre food, horrible service.
We made a reservation for a dinner last week. First we had to wait 15 minutes before one waiter came ton show us our table.
The occupation was more or less 20 % but at the table we had to wait another 30 minutes before receiving the menue ( QR code ). After having ordered, less than 5 minutes later the appertitizer was served at the same time when the starter was served. The main dish was also served 5 minutes after having finished the starter.
No one was responsible for the wine service, we had to do it ourself. Not yet finished the main course, one waiter wanted already to take away our plates. After having told him that we want to take another 5 minutes to finish, nobody came back for another 30 minutes.
After that time we wanted to pay and to leave this place. As we were sitting on the terrace outside we went twice inside to call a waiter for the bill, but they did ignore us again. Furiusly we did left to the street without paying, only 5 minutes later they did realized that we did left and called us on our mobile . We went back to pay our bill and even the owner or manager was there to receive us !
Before he was not able or to lazy to show himself to ask if everthin was ok ! Instead of excusing himself for this horrible service he accused us to be a thief !!!

On booking, we were asked if we wanted to eat on the terrace or inside. We chose the latter and on arrival slightly regretted our choice as we walked past the tables tucked away in the tropical garden adorned with statues and other religious iconography. Inside, however was no disappointment; every square inch packed with objects that appeared to represent the collection of a lifetime of travelling. The staff were welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable; each wearing a unique necklace comprising of stones hand picked by the owner to represent the “aura” of each individual. Food was served on hugely oversized plates. The jus not just spread randomly but as individual works of art, the dessert artistry painted across two plates, representing a sugary Whirling Dervish. Had we ordered three desserts, we would have been presented with a triptych. The theatrics complemented some competent Asian fusion cooking which clearly keeps customers coming...

Dining at Samsara feels like walking into a beautifully curated dream. The decor is stunning—an elegant fusion of East and West that mirrors the creativity of the menu.
If it’s your first visit, the staff take the time to introduce the dishes, suggest how many to order, and go over any dietary needs in detail. As someone with food allergies, I felt completely at ease. The care and attention were outstanding.
One of the things I loved most was the spaced-out table layout—you feel like you’re dining in your own little world, with just the right amount of privacy and quiet.
The food? Incredible. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully plated, and clearly made with intention. The service was warm and attentive throughout.
