Hotel Gaio 7 was hands down the best hotel I've stayed in while walking the Camino de Santiago. It was the perfect way to end my journey with a bit of luxury. Check in was at 3pm but I notified them that I would arrive a bit early and my room was ready when I arrived at 2:30pm. My backpack was transported by Top Santiago and they already had it waiting for me in my room when I arrived with a cookie and personalized note. Natalia at reception was so helpful in giving me a map of the city and knew the best times to go to the Cathedral mass to avoid the biggest crowds. She recommended food locations and markets nearby. In the evening I treated myself to a bottle of wine to my room and it came with olives, chips, and pastries. I stayed in room 001 and had a view of the Cathedral from my window and woke up to the most beautiful sunrise over the Cathedral. The breakfast buffet was probably the best I've seen ever and every staff member provided exceptional service timely and attentive with a warm smile. The pool im the backyard was perfect for soaking my tired Camino feet and there was a beautiful sunset view. Hands down an excellent experience I wish I could have...

Five stars are not enough for the level of service we received at this hotel. We were very tired and a little injured after finishing the Camino and the manager Natalia literally took care of all of our needs as if we were her own family. Thank you so much! The cold plunge pool is amazing after the long hike. They have a great snack menu. The only funny thing is that my very tall husband did not fit in the top section of our room so maybe check room specifications to book a space that fits you.
