Hotel Puerto de Luarca *** — Hotel in Valdés

Out of all the hotels I've stayed in on the Camino del Norte, this was by far my favorite. The rooms were exceptional: clean, modern, soundproof, with extras such as high quality air conditioning system, rain head shower, large window that opened wide, mood lighting, and an espresso machine (with decaf and caffinated options) in the room. Brenda was extremely responsive and warm/friendly, allowing me to check in early. The bed was comfy and came with a thick comforter and fluffy pillows that were just right. My family and I stayed at the Hotel Puerto De Luarca for 3 nights at the end of April and it was a wonderful experience. Elena, at the front desk, is a gem. She was exceptionally helpful and kind. She made us feel so welcomed. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast buffet and also eggs and bacon cooked to order by Olvi, who is also very nice and hospitable. Loved my stay at Hotel Puerto de Luarca. Everything is so clean and brand new I felt like I was living in luxury. The hotel is super central and close to everything. Two minute walk and you are at the boardwalk with tons of restaurants and a 15min walk to the beaches. The staff were lovely and Elena was super helpful/resourceful. Will definitely stay again...
