Food . I don’t know finds this delicious . This is ordinary meal with intention to make it looking sophisticated. Overcooked eggplant was my starter , nothing special in taste composition, the description in the menu was the best part . Overcooked almost dry with no taste ibérico on cold absolutely ordinary potatoes with mashed potato base (weird) was the main, honestly, I cook better on the worst day Brownie was ok, not delicious, but better then everything else. The concept of full menu is not my cup of tea, and here is obligatory , but ok, I knew it’s Saona concept

Atmosphere “dining room of the university campus” is the main sound here , but the interior looks good, and the design of the restaurants of Saona group is their strong side . But the noise around, all the people talking, sounds of the kitchen and no music to soften all this

Service I’m pissed off with the rule that you have 1h 15mins . We got our main dishes in 1h. Maybe they are not strict about this timing, I don’t know, but felt not nice , when we had to wait the food too long Staff were kind, but everything came too slowly , don’t know what was the reason

And despite people say it is great, it is very ordinary place, and for the same money you can get a lot better food

Is a pure marketing concept of Saona that creates a feeling you get something special, because of how it looks , but feels fake when you try it. in all Saona restaurants. The only good thing I’ve tried in Saona generally ( not here) were croquetas de pato - these I would eat endless, but since there are no options to order without entire menu, I avoid these restaurants. today was the day when I compromised the food for the reason that was more important . Restaurant Turgueta is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ve dined here several times and each visit has been an exceptional experience. Both the appetizers and main courses stand out for their outstanding quality. The flavors are refined, portions are just right, and the presentation shows great attention to detail.

Another highlight is the attentive service. The staff is friendly, professional and knows exactly when to engage and when to give guests their space. This contributes to the relaxed and enjoyable ambiance of the restaurant.

The only downside is that you always need to make a reservation in advance. While this is understandable given the restaurant’s popularity, it does mean that spontaneous visits are usually not an option. However, this small inconvenience is well worth it for such a remarkable dining experience.

The interior is definitely very stylish and it is a decent place for a lunch. Everything started very well. The first waitress was very swift and friendly and the starters were delicious. However, when the main dish arrived we were quite disappointed as both, the burger and the canelon, were cold. It didn't take them very long to bring the obviously microwaved dishes back to us, which now lacked the freshness. It was a pity that the waitress passed by at least 5 times without asking us whether or not everything was ok, although she took notice of the fact that we had not touched our food for a good 15 minutes. When she did ask us what was wrong and we told her that the food was not tasty at all, she was rather unimpressed - to be fair, she did ask if we wanted something else, which we did not as we lost our apetite during our wait.
