People who rate this place with more than 1 star, clearly have no self-respect.
First of all, making a reservation for 20:00, means you will need to be there at 19:30. As you are still waiting in line. Because you need to pay before entering the restaurant, and are not the only one with a reservation at this time. People who enter are blocking the path for the people that want to get food.
Tables are stacked on top off eachother, people constantly passing your table, hell on earth.
Secondly, the girl at the bar, who was cleaning the glasses at the beginning of the bar, the part where you enter. She had a bad day I guess. She was very rude. As nobody explained how their system works. I was standing with a piece of raw meat on a plate. Looking to which chef I could give it to be grilled. She looked mad, but really mad, like I did something wrong. Took my plate with force, and yelled, OK!! While still looking mad.
Other staff, also not very welcoming. Hospitality wise, again, hell on earth.
Apparently you should give your plate to one of the girls at the bar, you will then receive a beeper. And they will give it to the chefs. Once the beeper, beebs, you can collect your grilled meat of whatever type of food you choose.
Thirdly, I recommend taking your money to other places, as for the amount of €20 you can eat much better food in Valencia. This is just a good hall, like on an all inclusive holiday.
In my opinion the girl mentioned before, and 98% of the other customers were, I was about to say animals. But animals are more decent than most people in the restaurant last night.
Staking food on plates like it would be their last meal ever. People take 2 to 3 plates, including dessert, as they are apparently scared it will run out. Or it will be their last meal ever. Unbelievable how greedy people are.
And last but not least, there are COCKROACHES walking around the restaurant, which is clearly an issue!!
I hope my review saves someone from my bad experience, so they can enjoy a good meal at another place.
All in all, a very bad experience and I was happy to leave and...
Read moreAt arrival there was no explanation how the concept of this restaurant works. Luckily we ate at buffet restaurants before, but I can imagine the confusion for first timers. I missed signs with description of the dishes, which was a big miss. And the grabbers for food were not consistently divided as one for each food tray, so some was used for vegetables AND meat/seafood. Also it was not clear that the raw food could only be on the teppanyaki, not wok. The food out of the teppanyaki was good, but very oily. Normal water is on tap, but sparkling water can be asked at the bar. Too bad there was no ice cream. Also, like many restaurants here, most of the staff doesn’t speak English. Luckily the bartender did. The system with this sound-disc was efficient though, so we didn’t have to wait at the teppanyaki. I think the restaurant could use lots of improvement.
Some pro’s: staff was friendly, rest of the restaurant was clean and...
Read moreThe price-to-quality ratio of this place is very low. The entrance ticket costs just over €23. We arrived more than an hour before closing time, but the buffet was already almost empty. When we asked for more food to be added, the staff ignored us and were quite rude. About 20 minutes before closing, all the food was removed from the buffet, and nothing else was available. The staff were working without gloves, and there was no sense of proper hygiene. Additionally, the place was very noisy.
On the positive side, some of the dishes we did manage to try were quite tasty. However, the sushi was very basic, with only one type containing fish, and the grilled food was poorly prepared – the meat came out very dry.
It’s up to you to decide whether to visit this place or not, but for this price, I...
