I was really looking forward to eating Turkish dishes. Sadly, they don't have corbasi, lahmacun, ayran or bulgur, some of the most iconic Turkish dishes :( Adana kebab was good, but doesn't taste like the original one. Also, side dishes are anything but Turkish: I got plenty of fries, along aubergines, bulgur is replaced by rice, some salad (just lettuce, no lemon). Instead, menu includes pizza, pasta and fries, Asian rice, a mishmash. The food seems fresh and was actually tasty, but nothing special, it lacks the special spices that make all the flavor. The restaurant is pretty nice and clean, the staff is friendly, and the food arrived quite fast. Prices are quite high for what they offer - actually, I would gladly pay more for an authentic Turkish food, but it was not what I expected. Quite...
Read moreThe average rating I am seeing here is definitely unfair for such a good meal. The long queue before the entrance was a testament to its quality. It was full at noon and it was full in the evening. I arrived there at 21:10 and there was a queue of about ten guests and as I left at 10 pm, there were around twenty guests waiting before the door.
The location was perfect, the menu was rich, the taste was superb, the meat I got was of high quality, the service was surprisingly well for such a busy restaurant. The only negative aspect was the noise emanated from customers, a significant part of whom was comprised of families with children, but it is so with almost every places in this lively city.

Read moreWe had the Tavuk Sis, Adana Kebab and Istanbul plate together with a plate of doner kebab chicken. For starters we had the ensalada Turka.
The salad was OK. Did missed the sumak spice in it which is essential in this salad for me.
Plate of doner kebab chicken. Meat average, no salad with it. Only French fries. Also here it is challenge to deliver decent fries. Amazing while the basics are simple, fresh oil for starters and bake them 4-6 minutes on the right temperature.
The Tavuk Sis(chicken bbq on wooden skewers) was OK.
Also in this restaurant the Adana Kebab was not good. Missing the right basic ingredients to make it.
The beef on skewer 🍡 was OK.
Overall the price-quality ratio is way off. We paid too much for the quality...
