Host = Chris is extremely friendly and welcoming. Speaks English too, so don't worry if Mandarin is not your forte. 5/5

Checking in = extremely easy and smooth 5/5

Communal space = full of interesting and cool art pieces, well equipped kitchen with fridge, utensil, hot and cold water dispenser, cutleries and etc... 5/5

Room (without balcony which I stayed in) = quiet, cosy, extremely clean, well equipped, shampoo, conditioner and body soap all ready for your shower, TV comes with netflix, racks to hang your clothing, the bed comes with great and comfortable pillows and fresh linens, toilet comes with bidet, there is even room spray and fabric spray for your pillow to have a good night sleep 5/5

Location = extremely near to night market, 24hr laundry (city wash), near to supermarket, surrounded by cool cafes and bars for you to explore! The downside is that it's quite a distance from Hualien train station. But if you get a taxi from the train station, it will cost you less than 200TWD. 4/5

Parking = if you're driving or renting a car, there's parking lots available, but pls remember to reserve one day in advance. It costs only 100TWD for a day. It's way cheaper than any other parking spots (those with gantry) that I've parked and paid. 5/5

Overall, 5/5 I will definitely recommend anyone who is planning to visit Hualien to have a stay here. No regrets! Beyond perfection, the apartment is curated and designed meticulously to users' experience and comfort. Full of character and style reflects the personality...

We can’t get enough of this tasteful apartment. Everything is immaculate and we missed it already even though we just left. Everything chosen in this place is clearly thoughtfully curated and top of the line, from the aesop handwash, noguchi lantern, hay bedside lamp, bondi bench spray, smeg water boiler, 3m water dispenser 💯 💯 💯. Clearly someone who cares about offering a 360-degree experience for their guests.

The proprietor is pleasant and was always there to answer our question.

Perks •the duvet is to die for, thick and fluffy! •the pillows comfortable and not sunken •bikes are free for use •laundry is available for use with heads up for just twd 50 but otherwise there’s another 24-hr laundry in nanjing road that come highly recommended •wifi works like a charm •room comes with enough plugs to charge all your gadgets •love love the cutleries -they can be used •dyson hairdryer, dang! •spiffy coffee machine •tasteful music selection •incense that smells heavenly •around the corner from the famous dongdamen market •located in a pretty gentrified area where most creative stores and cafes are located •proprietor helped with booking taxi ahead of time (punctuality 💯)

We really have nothing to complain about except that we wished we could’ve have stayed longer

This well-located hotel is very nice and recommend for anyone visiting Hualien! It is extremely close to the Dongdamen night market and to the coast where there is a nice park to see the water. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. The hotel has bikes you can borrow for free which makes travel convenient. Hualien a very bike-friendly city.
