inns hotel — Hotel in Kaohsiung

I will definitely come back to this hotel when I'm in Kaohsiung. Highly recommended! The hotel itself is super nice and really smells good. There is free coffee/tea and water. My friend and I were so happy during our stay because the service was excellent and the staff/employees were very accommodating. The housekeeping was super nice and would go above and beyond. The first room that we stayed in, there was a problem with the AC but they were nice enough to transfer us right away to another room and would call us if the AC was working. They even left a fan but we were not able to use it because the room where they transferred us was cold already. All in all it's a pretty nice hotel, around 5 min walk from the nearest metro station. We (2 people) decided to give this a try given the great rating. It only had the quadruple room left when we booked but the price was still pretty reasonable.

Pros: bright, nice decor, clean, well equipped, water station at corridor instead of giving out plastic bottled water in room, free tea and coffee at lobby

Cons: We checked in at around 5pm on a weekend. The small lobby was filled with guests, and also stuffed with luggages stored for guests who checked out for the day which made it even more crowded. We essentially queued outside of the hotel 🫠

Others: The quadruple room was spacious and comfortable for the two of us, maybe still alright for 2 adults + 2 kids, but can't imagine fitting 4...

The room I stayed was Business Double Room.

A real bargain with exceptional good value. Newly renovated and feel fresh once you enter the hotel. Inside the room, there is plenty of space and surely has no problem to open two 28" luggage. There is also a 3 pin socket and so if you're from HK or UK, you will be delighted. Also, there is water machine in each floor and a coin laundry in the basement.

Drawback is that I consider the clothes rail is too short and there is NO USB plug socket. One should take note there is no safe in the room.

In terms of location, it is merely a 5 mins walk from MRT City Council station. There is also restaurants and a 24 hours operated Family Mart around the corner. The night market can be reached by a 5 mins walk away from the hotel.
