It is about 10-15 minutes away from Fengjia Night Market. There is a coffee shop opposite and a 7-11 nearby. However, you have to walk about 6-8 minutes to eat before 12 o'clock. There are breakfast shops and beef noodle shops, otherwise none of the shops on the straight road are open.*When I looked at the map, I saw a lot of restaurants that I thought had a lot of delicious food, but they turned out to be open very late. You can check the store opening hours on Google Maps. But if you decide based on seeing their photos, the exterior walls are now a bit mottled, which just doesn’t look good.but! The room is ok, relatively big and very cleanThe double bed room has two single beds combined. If couples/couples should pay attention to this, there will be a slight concave in the middle. What I am quite satisfied with is that latex/memory pillows are available. If you like firm pillows, you can call to arrange them.In addition, if you have an early flight and want to enter the room early, you should make arrangements with the clerk first.Because I had a meeting the day before and I was not energetic enough, I wanted to enter the room early, but it was already fully booked. So everyone needs to communicate in advance. There is a rooftop on the 9th floor. Don’t imagine it will be a very bustling night view. After all, it is in Taichung, but it is still very beautiful. All in all, judging from the appearance, I won’t book with this hotel again. But the room and staff were very nice, and I would consider...
Read moreA very good boutique hotel that is not tiny. Love the efforts it had put into decorations. It has the industrialist yet hip vibe to the hotel . Rooms are great . Lots of space, novelty and amenities inside. The alarm clock is a target and you could snooze it by shooting it with a toy gun. Lobby is huge, there is a second floor patio to chill but the sky deck/lounge is the best . The sky lounge has coffee machine, drinks and a microwave. Table soccer and air hockey. Lounge chair to chill. The sky deck you could virtually see 2/3 of Tai chung. Nice deck chair and tables. Simply love it . What so great about this hotel is it's people, they go beyond their call of duties. Service could rank as 5 stars. I do not have sugar while I'm at the sky deck , the receptionist brought up for me while I enquire is there any. Very initiative. When you check in the staff patiently explain to you details and sent you to the lift. It's probably the last hotel in fuxing road, do not tell taxi drivers hotel seven they will drive you to a seven eleven , tell them fu xing hotel 福星旅店. Face the main road turn left walk 8mins you will reach the bustling of feng jia area with food and amenities all there. A good quite hotel at the end of...
Read moreFunky design with plenty of design features including TV on the floor of the lifts, British pub theme restaurant/ breakfast area with upside down beds on the ceiling. We weren't sure why the name for Seven Hotel, until we realise the theme is 7 of spade or reference to 007 Bond theme, including a pistol activated alarm clock. The rooms are very big & the best ones are facing the front looking towards FungJia market. There's a small club house (smoking area) with a roof garden, it was open all the time & give a great view of the surrounding area.||The hotel is located near the edge of North West Taichung & takes about 20 minutes to walk into the main city centre & Fungjia Market. However, there's a bus stop immediately in front of the hotel & take you directly into town. The good thing is the hotel is very quiet & away from the noise of the market.||The breakfast is self service & reasonably cheap. However there's not much western style breakfast, and mostly serves Chinese breakfast (congee/ fried noodles/ buns). So if you need a good coffee & pastry breakfast, we suggest you cross the road to the little coffee shop instead.||Our stay is short but memorable, will definitely come back & stay again....never say...
