Had a great stay here when I was dropping by Taichung for 2 nights. The rooms turnt out as the photos have potrayed and were clean and spacious. For its price range, the amenities and service provided were over the top. The room were nicely stocked with coffee, tea and essential toiletries, as well as hair dryer, towels and room slippers. There were more than enough power sockets for 2 people, on each side of the bed. Some of the towels had dirt and light stains under further inspection, but they were quick to change them when asked.
The hotel also have a lounge with refreshment stocked, providing customers with nicely brewed tea and snacks. There was also hot, warm and cold water dispenser on every floor, as well as a laundry room at the top floor, with laundry detergent powder provided. The staff were also welcoming and fluent in both mandarin and english, hence no communication barrier. They also helped to store my luggage for my day trip out of Taichung after I checked out.
Location of Tea way was also very convenient, a 7 minutes walk from Taichung Railway Station and have a few bus stops around it. Its also quite well known in the area as the train station staff immediately recognised the name and provided me with directions to it. It is also super near miyahara, a popular tourist attraction in Taichung. There are also multiple convenience stores nearby for late night snacks.
Overall, happy with this hotel and will stay again when im in Taichung! Thanks for taking care of me...

My dad and I got rooms on the 11th floor. The hotel is easy to locate with a clean and open view lobby. There’s also a convenient ingress for your tour vehicle to stop to pick you up.
Rooms are clean and well maintained. Rather than the standard disposable bottles of water, there is a plastic flask you can use to collect water from a dispenser along the corridor (I very much approve). The dispenser can deliver hot, warm or cold water. I read some reviews about the noise proofing - I slept well and didn’t notice any noise pollution at all. Could be because it’s the 11th floor.
There is free washing machine and dryer on the 13th floor (only one of the two lifts reach this floor). (This is information from my dad - I didn’t use it myself)
Staff are helpful and seriously go beyond the call of duty. My dad fell in love with their shower head and foldable mirror, AND ASKED THE RECEPTION TO PURCHASE ONE 🤦♂️. They actually arranged it… omg
The location is just across the road to the train station; however you will notice that the overall location is a distance from the city Center. It’s a trade off of what’s important to you, I guess. Still, Ubers are amazingly easy here so it’s not really a big deal. Apparently the surrounding area is where the south East Asian community hangs out - I got some late night Vietnamese snacks.
All in all, I like this hotel. My dad is totally in...

The rooms are new with comfortable beds. We are a travelling party with two young children. As the room doesn't have a bath tub, I requested for a baby bath tub which they provided. They even provided a small stool, so that my children could reach the sink when they wash their hands. The toilet bowl is equipped with TOTO washlet that warms your seat and have bidet functions.
Noise can be heard from the next door room, especially when the doors are closing. However, we were grateful that the Hotel placed us on a quiet corner. I requested for a high floor and they acceded to my request. We had an unexpected surprise on New Year's Day as we enjoyed fireworks from our room window. Green Hotel also provided a gift box with teas and cookies to wish us a happy new year ahead, which is a really nice gesture.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Hotel room pricing is reasonable and I love the fact that I can do laundry on the 13th floor, important for families and complimentary. Service would be even greater if they change their check-in time to 3pm instead of 4pm, or allow us to use the hall area at B1 while waiting for check-in.
We will definitely be...
