I was a guest with 2 rooms and had stayed for 6 nights. I don't write a review but here’s a piece of advice for those considering staying in this hotel. Rooms with a humid smell with doesn't equipped with a dehumidifier for all rooms. Requested for dehumidifiers and you gotta rely on your luck as they have a few only and it is shared between rooms. Rooms with baby cockroaches even after sanitizing (they said). You need to book for twin room only on the floor of the hotel. Our floor is shared between the hotel and the residence. During our last night of stay, no electricity at 12.30 am without any prior notice although they knew there will be no electricity! It was electricity maintenance from Taiwan Power (idk what it's called, meaning the government power station) and the hotel knew there is this situation, they did not put it on notice earlier but during the power cut. They knew it would happen but no notice and claim that they believe it won't affect the hotel. Bro, no matter what star hotel is, it is meant for people to rest well! That's the main purpose of a hotel. And the electricity only recovered 2 hours later. And we slept for 3 hours before departing for the airport. No safety light in some hotel rooms prepared for any emergencies. (FYI, all hotel rooms in Taiwan must be equipped with safety lights.) They claimed that they have the safety lights, but hello what's the point of having them and it's not working during the power cut when we had babies and elderly in the room! Think twice, thrice before you are considering...
Read moreI have been here a few years ago and had enjoyed the location and services although they were having a renovation. This time round, I returned to this hotel thinking about the hospitality. However, I was very disappointed. They were renovating again.
I have sent them a message to inform the hotel that I am coming with my spouse and 3 kids prior to my arrival. I don't mind paying for an additional kid who is 9YO. However, the hotel didn't charge me any additional fee. But when I asked for an additional tower from the room service staff, she rudely said that I must proceed to the reception to ask for it. On the 3rd day, when I asked for shampoo as it was not top up during the cleaning, I was asked to go to the reception to ask for it again. I went to the reception and the receptionist told me it was due to environmental protection and customers got to use the shampoo sparingly. Plus the fact that they didn't charge me for the additional kid. Bcos of environmental protection, they would off the central aircon at night and on the last night, all electricity were shut down for 3 hours due to a defect. They didn't even apologise for it. This is the last straw....
Read moreRoom is smaller compared to photos. Pillow only 2 per room and it’s definitely not enough for us as it’s super flat. But we manage to get extras from the staff. Our window is facing a wall so no point having a window room as well.
Cleanliness need to take note. My mum was bitten by an insect living inside the flower pillow. We told the counter staff about it, but he seems to be very blur and ask me to repeat again. I showed him the bites that my mum was bitten, no apology at all. Just ask about our room and that’s it.
The next minute, my dad went to the pillow and saw 2 LIVE insects and went to show the staff at counter, he just mention will ask manager. That’s it. No apologies made. We don’t expect anything in return but at least apologise? All he could reply was “ oh our cleaner wash it everyday “ 😅
The manager or whoever also did not come forward to talk to us. They just let matter slide like that.
The hotel also have drain smell. Aircon is not even cold at all, we are always sweating. Room is not soundproof enough. We can hear people laughing and singing in the middle of the night which is...
