There were rice bar, drink and beer bar, salad bar, Haggen-Dazs ice cream bar (4 different flavours) and an all-you-can eat section with some pork, chicken, and various vegetables. I had a Economy BBQ, ($698: weekday lunch, $798: dinner and weekends) and ordered 2 plates (3 slices/ plate) of each Tender Shoulder Sirloin, American Beef Brisket-Salt & Pepper, and 4 plates (3 slices/ plate) of Chuck Beef-Yakiniku Sauce.
The shoulder sirloin was delicious with the Miso Yakiniku Sauce but not best of the best.
While barbecuing the both brisket and the chuck beef, the fire was going wild probably due to sufficient fat coming out. Be careful and don’t heat those for too long, just fill them twice and you can eat. The brisket was tastier than the sirloin here, especially without any condiments, and so was the chuck. In my opinion, the chuck tasted the juiciest and the best among the others.
In terms of the all-you-can-eat section, I recommend Hellishly Spicy Chicken Thigh for spicy eaters and Japanese Style Teriyaki Chicken Thigh for non-spicy eaters. Furthermore, it was so lucky to have Caramel Biscuits & Cream because it has been my favourite flavour of Haggen-Dazs that I ate 6 scoops.
In conclusion, the view from the window was wide open and the diverse options of food and drinks were just fascinating. However, the staff will tell you in advance that if you come here single, they will give you a $300 (actually $330) additional charge. I came here on my own because I wanted to try and compare different Yakiniku restaurants. Overall, it’s a 9.5 out of 10!
FYI, you pay first and the 10% service charge is included in your bill and you scan the code to order. The maximum time of dining and ordering are 120 minutes and 90 minutes, respectively. Furthermore, the minimum charge is $598 for weekday lunch and $698 for dinner...
Read moreWe come group of two tables. My table order from economy bbq menu, cost = 698. The meat was terrible. The meat was chewy and have a bad aftertaste.
When we pay, the cashier forced our table to pay for the top bbq menu, cost = 998, because the other table we were with ordered from the top bbq menu. We never ordered any meat from the top bbq menu. Our bills are separate.
The service was very poor. Our group felt scammed that we ordered the poor quality meat and charged the top quality price. We wish we spent my money on street food or at family mart instead.
When owner read review, please train the manager/cashier on better customer service. Staff should communicate with customers which menu they are ordering from. There should be no confusion when...
Read moreThe meat quality is not it. They use stove-like grill instead of charcoal which make the meat smells like gas. Lots of ice cream flavors, some veggie but not so much, lots of drink choices. The staff don’t speak very well English which make it quite confusing for us when they start clearing out every single thing including ice cream and sauce from the bar. Turns out they close at 12am so they start clearing everything 1 hour before (we assumed) which is understandable but no one told us when we get in.
I’d suggest telling customer before you clear everything at the bar because I saw A LOT of confusing customers looking for things at the bar. Some even tried to scoop an ice cream as fast as they can while the staff collecting the ice cream boxes...
