Hunglingke Hotel — Hotel in Taipei

Very good location- around 5 mins walk from Ximen station exit 6. It is beside Family Mart so you can buy anything you need 24 hours everyday. It is also near shopping area in Ximen, street food and some known establishment such as mcdo, kfc, 7-11, nike etc.||It is a small 2 star hotel so dont expect a 5-star treatment. However, staff are so nice although only 1 of them speak english. Rooms are spacious with comfy bed and pillows. It has ref and large TV. Hbo is only english channel. Toilets are also spacious with bath tub and hot shower. Suggest to bring your own toiletries. ||The only downside i know is that since the aircon is centralized, you dont have control if you feel it’s hot or too cold. Service was great, friendly reception. But room key has to be returned to the receptionist every time u exit the hotel. You'll have to request for the key every time you return. Great thing about this hotel was its location. Just a 5 minutes walk to the shopping district. However, during my 1 week stay there, it was rather regretful because the bed was too hard. Felt no difference from sleeping on top of a concrete slab. Lower back hurt for a few days even after I returned to my home country. Bathtub was great for relaxing after a full day of walking though. I don't recommend this hotel unless you don't mind sleeping or usually sleeps...
