Hil Venture — Hotel in Arusha

We had the pleasure of staying at Hil House and it exceeded all our expectations. Initially, we stayed for one night before embarking on our safari. We were so impressed that we decided to come back for another night after our safari was finished.

The room was pleasant and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. However, what truly made our stay amazing was the building manager, Sabrina. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Sabrina organized transportation to and from the nearby places we wanted to visit, making our travels incredibly convenient. She was exceptionally kind and always available to message, even outside of regular hours, demonstrating her dedication to her guests.

Sabrina’s assistance didn't stop there. When we were short on time and needed to change money, she was more than willing to help. We also mentioned our interest in buying some local tea, but with our tight schedule, we couldn't make it to the shops. Sabrina took it upon herself to buy the tea for us while we finished packing! Her kindness and willingness to assist were truly heartwarming.

The men at the door were equally welcoming and always rushed to help us with our bags, adding to the overall positive experience.

While the apartment was clean and the facilities functional, my stay at Hil Venture Apartment Hotel was marred by several disappointments. The lack of a reception after 8pm proved problematic when we encountered issues in the unit, highlighting the absence of 24-hour assistance critical for international travelers in emergencies. Additionally, the hot water availability restricted to daylight hours, shutting off at 10pm, was inconvenient.

The most concerning aspect was the infestation of bugs entering the apartment from under the door. Despite reaching out to reception for assistance, the unhelpful response directing us to buy bug spray ourselves fell short of expectations. A more appropriate approach would have been offering to provide the bug spray to address the issue promptly.

Feeling unsettled by the overall experience, I could only endure one night at the property. Even upon early checkout at 6am, the absence of reception staff was glaring. Disappointingly, despite paying for four nights, I was denied a refund for the remaining nights I did not stay. Proceed with caution if considering a stay at Hil Venture...

I recently visited Hil Venture Hotel in Arusha and had a great stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the city center.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including Wi-Fi and hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in easy and giving useful tips about the area.

I also enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant—breakfast had a good variety, and the meals were tasty. The hotel is quiet and relaxing, perfect for both business and leisure stays.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend Hil Venture Hotel to anyone...
