Our recent visit to Zanzibar from 15th to 19th November 2023 was truly enchanting, and the highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our stay at the Light of Zanzibar Hotel. This is the best place you could stay in Nungwi. The hotel is excellent, with hot water all time, clean rooms, facilities, very good wifi connection and air conditioner. The location is gorgeous, near the beach and near the shops, breakfast is not the same every day and is big and tasteful. The manager and the staff are really wonderful persons. Paul is remarkable. They helped us with many things we needed. We felt here better than in Marriott...Everything is new...and the people from here make you feel very welcomed and important for them! I do recommend this hotel to everyone wants to be treated in the most beautiful way and to have a very, very nice holiday! Thank you for all you did for us! We can't wait...

We had reserved accommodation for 3 nights but we’re not able to take it up.|On the morning we were supposed to check in, our plans were upset and we could not take up the booking.|There was a “No cancellation” clause but I wrote to the hotel requesting any kind of refund. Within minutes I received a reply from the hotel stating that a full refund would be paid.|I find this absolutely amazing and refreshing. The world would certainly be a far better place if more of us showed such consideration and kindness.|Thank you very much Light of Zanzibar.|for restoring our faith...
