Decent restaurant with a good setting. Food and drinks are overpriced for what you get. We had the sharing Veggie platter as we are Vegan, which had decent taste . Nice and fresh, but nothing amazing. Disappointing that for the price, you get two falafels and two small pita's each; you won't have enough pita to mop up the dips, so if you want extra pita (which you will) it is 1000TSH per one. The service was as should be for any restaurant, and the staff did nothing outstanding to deserve a tip, but when I paid the bill I said 'keep the change' anyway which was around 2000TSH. The staff clearly made some sarcastic / jokey remarks in their own language about me saying 'keep the change' and laughed, so clearly they were expecting a big tip! I find it so annoying that people expect a big tip just for doing their job! If their pay is low and they rely on tips, that's an issue they need to take up with the owner. Probably wouldn't come here again, but try for yourself and see what you...
Read moreUnsatisfactory stay at nungwi, the photos and reviews don't show exactly how the place is, the bedrooms are not as good as the pictures, the toilets aren't that clean, when we landed the AC wasn't working in one room, leaking in the other, there wasn't water pressure to have a shower, door locks weren't opening. These are some of the few issues we faced and the only resolution we received was a round of beer and 25 dollars in total for 4 days of stay reimbursed ( which was promised but never returned to us) overall.dont recommend this place. However the reason.i haven't given 1 but a 2 star rating was because the staff were extremely humble.and very nice to.all of us as well as the common chilling areas...

Each time, we headed upstairs under the thatched roof—a sort of hidden spot, slightly apart from the main dining area. Up there, you could sit on high stools, relax on cozy sofas, or… lounge on cushions right on the floor. That’s exactly what we did while waiting for our order. That’s why we fell in love with Badolina. There’s nothing better than stretching out on the floor in the heat, sipping a cold juice...
