Lanna Tree Boutique Chiang Mai — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

The rooms was better than expected, comfortable, lots of lights, good shower. Hotel has 3 floors (ground, second and third) and no elevator. Wifi was useless, inexistent. We stayed 3 days at the second floor and it only worked for a little while after I complained at reception and they unplugged the router. Next morning it wasn't working again. I was successfully connected but couldn't even refresh a web page. The shower water was too cold but after adjusting the temperature of the water heater under the sink, it was fine. What should be improved is check-in and services in general. We were requested 500 TB as warranty for the return of the rooms keys of 2 rooms (white plain magnetic keys that are very cheap to get for hotels). Finally I agreed on 300 TB that we got back at checkout when we returned the keys. One of the keys did not work so we got a regular key for the room and could not be used to turn on the electricity of the room nor could open the door passing the entrance so we got a third key for that door after asking for it. Breakfast if you pay for it is in a restaurant nearby. But you have 2 sets to choose for each coupon paid from a menu. Each set has 1 food and 1 beverage (fruit, french toast, tuna or chicken sandwich, eggs, soup. No bacon or ham. Probably I am forgetting something). I choose a tuna sandwich and the photo at the menu will show a decent sandwich with lettuce and decent filling. The truth was no lettuce and very poor filling that didn't even cover the bread. We requested to change from the chicken or tuna sandwich at the menu for a ham and cheese sandwich that was in the general menu. Something that was fair to request. But they denied. Rooms

We booked a triple room, which was ideal for our family. The room was large, very clean, and had three comfortable beds—perfect for traveling with a child. It felt spacious and well-suited for families who need both convenience and comfort.

Facilities

The hotel has a nice little pool that our 6-year-old loved. What stood out most was the flexibility of the staff: even after check-out at noon, they allowed us to stay around the hotel and let our child enjoy the pool while we waited for our flight. This thoughtful gesture made our day much easier and more relaxing.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival, setting a positive tone right away. Throughout our stay, the staff showed genuine hospitality, always attentive and accommodating to our needs.
