Stupid mistake to have believed that a retaurant run by an American owner could serve Thai dishes without disgracing traditional cuisine.
For exemple : The Khao Soy recipe has absolutely nothing to do with the original like most of the menu whose ingredients and flavors are far from authentic. Pieces of chicken breast (instead of a chicken leg ) with peas and carrots and chives, without the famous crispy fried dough on top and without the ingredients that accompany the dish (onions, lemon, pickled cabbage)
It’s better to just offer burgers or other foreign specialties when you don’t master the culinary art of the country where you’re settling. Or clearly announce that it is a Western fusion recipe as a principle of honesty.
Furthermore, this noisy place is often frequented by young, disrespectful people who don't care much about the customers who spend their time yelling and disturbing with their agitation and lively conversations.
This made-in-US landmark in the heart of a popular and peaceful neighborhood is far from the spirit sought by the majority of travelers.

It also is one of the few places that lets you ask for raw bean sprouts with pad Thai so you get more crunchy texture. Here you can also get the best pumpkin dishes, esp the curries are great with it! Currently they are offering homemade Crème Caramel for dessert, it’s like flan but not quite as sweet.
We keep coming back again and again ! (And I realize we have no photos cause we always...

The menu is diverse, and every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and tang, while the Green Curry was rich, fragrant, and packed with fresh ingredients. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, their fresh juices are incredibly refreshing and pair beautifully with the food.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a warm, welcoming staff who go out of their way to make sure you have a memorable experience. The...
