Went to get a keratin treatment & full leg, Brazilian, and armpit wax.

I’m from the US and I get waxed monthly back home— with no adverse side effects.

So. I started with full legs and my skin got super irritated and formed a rash of small red spots. This has never happened and I’ve waxed for awhile. She said it would go away in 30 mins. It’s now been 2 days and it’s starting to clear.

My bikini line is bruised. Based on googling, this is from improper waxing techniques. Also has never happened in my years of waxing.

She missed a lot of hair on my Brazilian and armpits; and my legs aren’t smooth by any means.

She used the same stick the entire time— ‘double dipping’. Not sure if that’s usual elsewhere but it’s a major NO in the US. Also used the same wax sheet numerous times.

It’s been 2 days, I’m not smooth, I’m bruised, need to buy a razor to get the many strays.

As far as the keratin goes, I was told I could wash whenever. Online it says to wait at least 48-72 hours. So I’m not sure of those...

A very nice and skilled hairdresser. I went with my daughter, she had her hair washed and dried for 200 bath (and her fringe even was cropped for free 🙏) and I had my hair washed, cut and blow-dried for 400 bath. Thats Amazing 🤩! The owner cuts fantastically, she takes the time for you, is very skilled and a perfectionist. my hair has rarely been cut with so much attention and so well. she speaks English which is comfortable. I thought the washing was fine, not as relaxing as I had hoped but thorough and with nice massage. My daughter enjoyed it better. Of course it also depends on what you like. I have wavy/curly hair and have needed a hair cut for over a month but i have learned that many haircutters don't know how to cut my type of hair so I have learned to be selective. Joy Hair had good reviews was able to see me shortly after I walked in so I was able get both a hair cut and a manicure. Both services were given professionally and with concern for my satisfaction throughout. The scalp massage during the shampoo was an unexpected treat which was performed while I relaxed in comfort on an extended kind of table set up that USA hairsalons should seriously consider adopting.
