I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. While the staff is very nice and the pool area is okay (that’s the 1 star in the reviews), I have never seen a lack of professionalism by general management that I have here, including in any hostel I have ever stayed in. As. soon as I moved in to my room, I was being constantly distracted by construction directly across the hall. When I asked to move, they said I would have to pay to avoid the noise. I had a Thai friend ask for me again, because I thought the staff may have misunderstood me, and they said they’d allow me to move for a week. I said that was fine as long as they were been a construction noise when I returned. While the other hotel room was fine, when I moved back to the original hotel room I was immediately disturbed again by the sounds of loud construction workers and drilling. While I didn’t expect much out of a small hotel, and I understand that no place is perfect, I shouldn’t be forced to stay in a room that consistently and wakes me up...
Read moreDespite occupancy in Chiang Mai being some of the lowest I've seen since COVID and claims of remodeled rooms, the guy and lady at the counter decided to show me the moldiest, darkest room on an empty hallway in this monstrosity of a building. Upon opening the door I couldn't even enter the room because I was punched in the face by the over powering stench of mold.
He in fact sent me on my own to find the room, with no direction and it was not easy to find given that the boss keeps the halls dark and it was evening time. Very scary indeed. There were building materials and all manner of dirt and dust strewn about. The building is extremely old, dilapidated and I can't imagine anyone staying there without being forced to. The pool area and all of the common areas are extremely depressing. The guy at the counter was also rude and likely a liar. He made some poor assumptions about who I am, and where I come from much to his own chagrin. Truly a...
Read moreBooked a room.for the night and ended up staying 8 nights. This is a older hotel going through some very slow renovations. Our room on the 5 th floor with balcony overlooking the very nice and always upkept swimming pool was in good shape, came with refrigerator, water boiler for your coffee even though there is a 24 hour free coffee maker in the lobby, flat screen tv and a nice clean bathroom. The room was eaned daily. Unfortunately the are so many doves who get through the netting that hangs off the room and still come to poop on the balcony which the cleaning staff seem to overlook.|Otherwise, employees are friendly and helpful and always smile. |Location is quite and within walk g distance to old city (4 min) night market ( about 8 min )||I highly recommend this place. At the moment is was paying $25.00 a night but noticed even better deals online so keep a eye out for better bargains.||If the review is helpful to you then please, give it...
