MITTE MITTE Chiangmai - Cafe & Brunch — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Got there around 11ish, A kind Waiter opened up the door for us and directed us inside . Asked us if we had reservations and we said no and so he just told us the only choice was seating on the small table kinda next to toilet !!?? The place was quiet empty ( first floor 2 tables including us 3 were seating ) and on the second floor too many tables and no one was there and I honestly if it wasn’t because of my friend would just leave and not stay there but I decided to agree on disagreement. We ordered few different dishes and the foods and drinks came out in the ordinary fashion and well served . Foods tasted great and I must admite that the service was great and very polite staff . We stayed there around an hour for sure and after paying our bill we realized the no one checked in for the said that were reserved and we both were very disappointed as my friend is a coffee and food blogger and really wanted to get a real good feeling and taste of this place but unfortunately we were told the every tables are reserved which we believed it wasn’t ( at least after an hour We were there no one showed up ) . Why I’m so focusing on seating assignments is that hopefully the owners can read and understand that people like us drove from quiet far distance going there knowing the fact that we were very familiar with the location of this beautiful place after being in Chiangmai for 20 years but we still decided to go and of course and very customer wanted to seat at a better table rather just that’s the only table available while there are many open tables . I must admit the staff are great , Food quality is wonderful but a bit small portion compared to the price but still great , location is so so and hard to find parking ( however they do have car park for 2 cars and bikes are easy to park anywhere ) . We highly recommend this place for sure as long as you don’t care where to seat as you might end up being in empty restaurant but seating kind of near by...

So many wonderful things about this place, it’s hard to know where to start!

First of all, we loved the food and the staff so much that we came back here 3x. That said, I think we have a good idea of their food, service and its remarkable consistency and excellence.

We had a little bit of everything off of the menu as we came at different times during the day. The breakfasts are fresh, the berries are actually ripe, the food is prepared beautifully and with the utmost attention to detail. Their quality is exceptional, it easily compares with some of the best breakfast restaurants in Sonoma and Napa.

We also had sandwiches, the Eggs Bae (their version of the Benedict), yogurt parfait, and smoothies. Their coffee and Thai iced teas are perfectly prepared (I add a shot of espresso to my Thai Iced Teas for some extra zing). Everything was perfect.

We visited with our kids, who are young and can be a lot. The staff was well prepared and so very, very patient with us. They had silicone kids plates and utensils available (they were proactive, and anticipated our needs at every turn). They always served the kids’ food first, which gave us a chance to relax and enjoy our coffees or drinks.

The setting is beautiful and peaceful. It feels garden like, and they have beautiful healthy plants adorning their multi-tiered dining area.

Honestly, this was one of my most favorite places to eat in Thailand. If you want spectacular bagels (get some to-go!), amazing coffee, and the most genuine and thoughtful service head to Mitte Mitte. It’s a little slice of heaven...

I actually can’t believe I just had this good of a meal. Like my flabbers. GASTED.

The staff greeted me when I walked it and I came on a Monday around 11:30am, not too crowded, but a great place to eat, journal, work - very quiet and respectful of other enjoying their meals.

The wait staff were amazing and I asked for a recommendation on what I should eat, because it was my first time and they offered so many great suggestions! I order the Orange Espresso, The Salmon Sashimi, and the Katz Bagel.

This combo together was a choice, but one I’m so grateful I made. Their salmon is fresh and cut very nicely and the added herbs (dill) mixed with the sauces and the presentation of the plates - MWAH. CHEF’S KISS. I actually felt like I was eating at a special cafe ahaha and I guess I was!

Moving on the the bagel, there’s a reason it’s their staple. It was DIVINE. It’s fried to golden perfection, the combination of spices are just right and even you’re a fraud of a little spice, it’s worth it to at least try, because it’s such a powerful flavor combination!! I devoured it and kind of wish I spent more time savoring eat bite ! 😩
