Wat Ou Sai Kham — Attraction in Chiang Mai Province

A good temple to visit without any charges.

With more of the popular temples now charging foreigners to enter, I thought I would visit a few of the lesser well known ones and see if they're worth a visit instead.

Wat Ou Sai Kham is situated in a soi off Thapae Road, close to Thapae Gate, easy to check on the map.

The temple here contains many interesting statues and jade artifacts. It also has a number of fine pictures on the walls, in very good condition.

There are useful information signs and a fine tower in the courtyard.

Fantastic place to see just 5 min from location of our hotel- Mandala House. Very quiet, well maintained temple with variety of Buddhas. We had also amazing privilege to be approached by one of the monks who talked to us about the temple and share the leaflets, then invited us to see their chanting, which was extraordinarily.
