A solid buffet choice, especially for sushi and sashimi lovers. The highlight of the night was undeniably the bluefin tuna — fresh, buttery, and surprisingly premium for a hotel buffet. 🍣💙 The spread covers a decent variety of Japanese dishes, grilled meats, seafood, and some Western-style mains. Presentation was neat, and the pace of refill was consistent even on a busy night. The cooked dishes were okay, but the raw items — especially the sashimi — are the real draw. Ambience feels a bit dated but comfortable enough. Service was friendly and quick to clear plates, and the sushi counter adds a bit of excitement with its live slicing action. 🔪🐟 Great value if you’re targeting the seafood and sushi section. Not a luxury buffet, but for the price, it delivers above expectations.

Wow, this is a definite one of a kind experience. First of all, there is so much variety around the food selection here: from Chinese to Thai to Japanese, they have it all. They don’t just focus on quantity, their quality is equally top tier. Their teppanyaki station for example presents their food in a very high class manner and their meat is also cooked meticulously. I tried their salmon and pork teppanyaki and the texture is incredible with the salmon flaking off while being just cooked. They also offer a wide variety of dessert. I particularly enjoy their Khanom Krok, which were also comparable to the top ones in Thailand. The staff are also very friendly, patiently explaining each dish. Overall, for a very reasonable price, I highly recommend this for buffet in Bangkok.

My 2nd time at THE EMERALD COFFEE SHOP was last Saturday (Feb 10th). The first time was last year, round October. I remember the first time both food and services were great. Friendly staff, some of them though. My friends, bf and I really enjoy our time back then. However, last Saturday was pretty much the opposite. Quality of food wasn’t THAT good, like my first sashimi was frozen, tough and lack flavour. Spaghetti was hard, don’t know whether it was undercooked. Their panna cotta wasn’t fluffy at all. And the place was crowded. Might be because it was CNY. Most of the time there I wasn’t so happy nut not everything was bad though, I admit that their Angus steak was great, probably the only dish I enjoyed.
