Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit - A Blend of Comfort and Style:
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Here are a few highlights from my stay:
Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Situated in the heart of Sukhumvit, Oakwood Studios is conveniently located near major shopping malls, restaurants, and public transportation. The proximity to the BTS Skytrain makes it incredibly easy to explore Bangkok. Additionally, they provide a shuttle service every 30 minutes to the Thong Lor BTS station, adding an extra layer of convenience for guests.
Accommodation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I stayed in a Studio Premier Room with a King Size bed, and it was nothing short of impressive. The room was spacious, modern, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The kitchenette was a nice touch, making it perfect for longer stays.
Facilities: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The property boasts a range of facilities that cater to both relaxation and productivity. The pool is a great spot to unwind, offering a pleasant atmosphere and clean surroundings. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the co-working space was particularly useful, providing a quiet environment to get some work done.
Breakfast: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The breakfast provided is simple but sufficient, offering enough variety to start your day off right. While it may not be extravagant, it covers the basics well.
Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The staff at Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. They were always ready to assist with any requests or provide recommendations for local attractions and dining.
Overall Experience: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're in Bangkok for business or leisure, this property offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and style. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.

Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel, which opened in September 2022. While I had high expectations for a well-maintained property, I was disappointed to find several issues that detracted from my overall experience. I believe that prioritizing maintenance over marketing efforts would greatly enhance guest satisfaction.
Pros:
Convenient Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the BTS station and within a 5-minute walk to a 7-11 store.
Nearby Amenities: There are various restaurants and massage shops within walking distance.
Quiet Room: My room on the 2nd floor faced a residential neighborhood, ensuring a peaceful stay with no car or guest noise.
Cons:
Room Hygiene: Pest control is urgently needed.
Insects were found in the room, including on the coffee table, bathroom, and desk (please see attached photos).
Nails were found on the coffee table beside bed.
Dust accumulation on the coffee table beside bed.
Human hair was present on the floor upon arrival and remained there throughout my 3-night stay.
Hotel Floor Condition: The non-carpeted areas of the hotel floor appeared dirty and heavily worn, indicating a need for maintenance.
Customer Service: Improvement is necessary.
When I returned to collect my luggage and room key, I was assisted by a helpful lady who retrieved our luggage. However, when I asked a male staff member at the reception for my room key, he completely ignored my request, despite being visibly occupied with paperwork. His unprofessional appearance, including gold hair, gold glasses, and lipstick, further impacted my impression. If he is unable to attend to guests, he should work in an office instead of at the reception. I don’t think I’m the first one to complain about that male staff and won’t be the last one. Hotel management needs to take this seriously!
I had to wait for the lady to return before I could ask for my room key again.
I hope the hotel take these concerns seriously and address the issues to improve the overall...
Read moreOur Airbnb host cancelled on us when we were 1 minute from drop off so we needed an urgent booking. Oakwood was the closest option. I’m very pleased with this booking.
First off all of the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and so sweet!
The room is bright and clean. I especially love the big window overlooking some greenery and clean city buildings. The bed is huge and soft. The shower has fantastic water pressure. I also love the super black out curtains and the place was silent during our whole stay. No loud kids, no loud bangs and no construction outside!
Two things I would prefer to be different are the sheets and a fan in the bathroom. Not having a fan or any ventilation in the bathroom is actually ok for a short stay, but in the long run it will accumulate mold. The sheets are somehow very sweaty, not sure of the material.
Regardless of these two preferences I think the room is still lovely for a 3 night stay.
As far as the location goes, I personally love it. I don’t mind getting some steps in so I like that it’s about a 7 minute walk to the BTS.
The neighborhood is also clean and I just like the vibe here. It is true that there are not great sidewalks the entire journey to the station, but I’ve been living in Thailand without sidewalks for 2+ years so it doesn’t bother me.
I haven’t tried the breakfast because unlike some other negative reviews, I’ve found this area to be full of great places to eat within a 10-15 minute walk. Which I suppose that timing could be hell for some but for me, again, it’s great to get some walking in!
I’ve enjoyed the small but clean gym that provides a mat, towels, some dumbbells and a couple treadmills (although I get my walking in outside.)
I haven’t gone into the pool yet but it does look relaxing and lovely.
Overall I would book this place again as it was a far better experience than our other accommodation in Bangkok that we stayed for the...
