Villa Verde - Lanta mountain — Hotel in Ko Lanta Yai

Villa Verde is located in a peaceful area five motorbike minutes off the beach - perfect to relax with all infrastructure close by. We'd recommend renting a motorbike as the hill is rather steep and you'll gain flexibility.

Oliver and Noi are amazing hosts: responsive, very knowledgeable and supportive. We really enjoyed our time together. They live nearby, but never intruded our privacy.

The Villa itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. Clearly, a lot of love was put into it and the green surroundings. From the fully equipped kitchen to little things like ice packs for beach picnics, there wasn't anything missing for a perfect stay. Most important, we slept very well thanks to mosquito screens and the absence of roosters.

We spent happy days on the verandah enjoying the scenic view while relaxing in the seating area, the comfy sun loungers or in the hammock, which Oliver put up after we asked him where we could buy one 😃 (To all travelers who will enjoy Villa Verde after us: you're welcome 😉)

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Koh Lanta and had an excellent time. The villa is located on a hillside with excellent ocean views and is extremely peaceful. Oliver and Noi made us feel right and home and even offered a scooter for us to rent for the week. There is a monitor in the apartment that is super helpful for getting some work done, and the kitchen is perfect for a short stay. While there is a 15+ minute walk to get down to the main road from the apartment, there are tons of excellent restaurants once you get down there as well as a great beach and some good shops. We spent a full month on this beautiful property. Everything we needed was furnished when we arrived. Plenty of water was available so we did not have to get it on the scooter. Air con in the bedrooms worked great. The property itself is gorgeous, perched on the hill with an amazing view. Everyone around us was very friendly. The housekeeper was a dream. I never met anyone who works harder or who does a better job. Our hosts were amazing, making sure everyday was perfect. We made friends with them, had some dinners and excursions.
