Mem’s Coffee Corner — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

Well deserved 5 stars, here's why: 1.) the owner is always present and operates the coffee equipment and greets every arriving guest herself. You can feel the enthusiasm that only people that love their job or business have. 2.) While the coffee is darker than I prefer, it's the best coffee in this area. Proper extraction, proper, creamy steamed milk with correct temperature, latte art (which I don't require, but it's appreciated and shows dedication). 3.) The food blew me away. I tried 3 items from the compact but diverse menu and all of them were perfect in taste, freshness, presentation. Some portions were very generous, some normal sized. I consider myself a foodie but the consistency of those scrambled eggs... I didn't even know that's possible... But try for yourself! 4.) prices are between fair and bargain (hello, Avocado Toast!) 5.) The staff all seemed to be close relatives of the owner and were genuinely nice, friendly and helpful - just lovely. 6.) I ordered a flat white (which isn't on the menu) and got it without having to explain what I'm talking about. Mem is self tought and obviously very keen to improve her skills every day. The woman preparing the food.... well I don't think there is room for improvement :-) 7.) The result of all that is a place with a cosy, positive atmosphere that "forces" me to go there every single day while on this...

We had the most delightful breakfast experience at this charming spot in Koh Lanta! 🥰From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us coming back over and over again☺️❤️. The staff were incredibly friendly, always with a smile and made sure our every need was taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can feel that they put theirs heart in everything what they prepare for you. 😍Whether it was the perfectly brewed coffee or the scrumptious food, every bite was a treat! I stayed on Koh lanta for a week and a half and found this gem after a few days.. and went back every day after! My favorite coffee shop on the island💜

The coffee is the best I had on Koh lanta, Mem made a great espresso machiatto with oat milk. She is super sweet and would always surprise me with fun latte art. The breakfast was great too (I had some eggs, bacon and toast)

The vibe there feels like home. Mem and Rob are super friendly, and I would often just hang and chat with them. Along with sharing some fun stories, they helped me plan the rest of my trip and gave great recommendations.

I'm looking forward to visiting next year and coming...
