Love, love, love this place. You must stay in the ocean front rooms, preferably A2, A4, or A6 as they are on the top floor with great beach views. The bottom rooms can be obstructed by vegetation. Best features; location right at the end of Sairee Beach and value for your money. Our room was fan only, the bedding and towels were clean as was the floor and shower but the walls, windows, and mirrors were dirty. They really need to spend more time in those areas. Front desk staff was not friendly but polite. She did not let you know about the services they provide or that there was even a store attached. They say daily room cleaning but they did not provide that service and the people next to us had to ask. The beach is beautiful, just steps from the room, clean. Not great for snorkelling but there were a few fish around. Nice for people watching as the kids from the school came for their lunch breaks. Location to all the restaurants was great and just far enough away that you could sleep at night. We could sit on the porch and see the fire dancers in the distance. I didn't want to leave. The walk to the dock was 10 minutes and very doable but you could also call a cab if needed. Nice coffee shop up the hill, 2 minutes away, for your morning coffee on the porch. Just a really nice place...
Read moreI would say it's a place for few kinds of people- travelers that have tiny winy extra to spend(not much cos the place is actually super cheap) couples or people that like fun but only in the evening and want to stay away from busy turist places during the day.||No far from the "party area" but far enough to have some peace and quiet, there's an amazing yoga place(ocean sound) that is the best yoga classes I've ever been to(I practice yoga for a long time now) those girls are amazing! Really really great teachers,Even if you don't practice yoga and you just haven't done any exercise in a while and you feel a bit crappy- do it!! They don't make it easy, I'll tell you that! You will defo get your sweat on!||The resort has its own private beach, which is just a little paradise on earth, you can get kayaks or just swim to the other small beaches(bloody lovely as well)||There's reception that will help you out with what ever you need and a restaurant that is cheap/nice and super friendly ||P.S there's a high bar not far off from the resort:) and what a lovely place that is...just ask around;)...
Read moreI don’t understand some of the bad reviews, I had a great experience here. The lady working here was so kind and got me an amazing room despite everywhere else on the island being completely booked full. Even when my ferry leaving the island got cancelled she managed to get me a beautiful room overlooking the water. The rooms itself are okay, the bed is hard and the bathroom is decent for the price. No bugs in the room and no stains in the bedding. I paid $900baht / night. The Friendly staff always willing to help, and the location being pristine made this stay much better. 30 second walk and you’re on the beach. The shops and restaurants are just down the walkway. Overall I would recommend staying here if you want to stay at a good location and don’t wanna pay an absurd amount of money. Also the snorkelling right in front of the resort by the rocks was pretty solid too. I should also add it’s about a 10min walk from the ferry...
