HT9 Hotel Pattaya — Hotel in Pattaya City

We stayed here for 3 nights during my birthday. This hotel is fabulous and I highly recommend! The staff are soooo friendly, you cannot walk in or out with being said hello too or some other kind of conversation, if you need anything or have any questions they are always ready to help! It was my birthday while we stayed and they took it upon themselves to organise a cake and cake to the room and sang happy birthday to me and delivered a card. It was very sweet and I was super touched, not many hotels have that personal touch anymore. On check in they have a tree by the front desk, per room booked you can pick one tied up note from the tree and have a chance to win prizes! We got 20% off the downstairs cafe! Upstairs is the beautiful pool and bar area, where the food and drinks and the VIEW is amazing. There is a building in the way making it not a complete sea view but you can see way more of the sea than I originally thought you could. The food was actually a decent price considering hotels normally aren’t… the beers were on the pricey side though with small changs coming in at 110 baht when normally you can get them for 60-70 baht. It seemed weird compared to the cheaper options for food. The rooms are beautiful and well kept and very spacious. We had a deluxe double room - it was made up everyday and snacks were replenished free of charge along with some soft drinks and water. The city view was beautiful, the bed comfy and for those so inclined it’s probably one of the few hotels you can still smoke on the balcony.

We arrived early at 8.30am, and while we couldn’t check in early we were allowed to use the facilities and they let us check in at around 1pm instead of 2, which we were grateful for after an overnight bus. When we checked out it was the same thing, we were getting a 5pm bus so they let us chill upstairs while we waited.

My only only complaint was that there were some ants in the room, but we live in Thailand and find ants in our own apartment so I know how hard it is to deal with these little critters! Its location was a bit out the way, even from the main jomtien area but grabs are available and baht buses although we personally found grab cheaper.

I will 100% stay here again, it felt like a home away from home. Thank you for some great hospitality. (Also if possible I’d love to get in contact and get the video of the hotel staff bringing the cake...

Honestly I love their breakfast it was abundantly and you can pick what you like. They have variety’s of breakfast from cereal to salad or Thai traditional breakfast, soup the variation of bread is so much better there’s white or wheat or dark bread. |The downside is the bar and restaurant on 9F.|There’s only one chefs cooking at the restaurant so when there’s more people it takes a While before the food is all served there’s one tuna tartar and fish and chips the cooked basically just take the fish on the freezer and dip it fry. They are still raw at the middle and cold on the side. We stay there from 9 March to 21. Staff is friendly cleaners aren’t so clean.|I mean I have a droplet of my period the first day I slept there with my fiancé I clean it up but not all the stain goes away and we asked for cleaning our room they change the blankets but never change or might have change the bed sheets but the stain was still there. Also be careful sometimes the cleaners can accidentally make the spoon disappear and when I questioned after coming back from a trip around Pattaya the cleaner just said I don’t know, but I seriously know it was there I used it when I made coffee in the room before we left and she just said she will replace maybe she lost it while cleaning but I don’t believe it. Still give her tip and so that she won’t make things complicated to us, in my son’s room though there was no problem.|Watch out for the bathroom smell. Complain it to the lobby right away.|There will be times also that they don’t have enough staff that when I check out I have to put my suitcases on the cart they have on my own bring it down and drag it out that was very tiring.|All in all we will still come back because the price is reasonable. Stayed at the hotel from 24 nov. 2023- 09 dec.2023, married couple, 60+.|The location is good - a clean beach is 5 minutes away, it’s quiet next to the hotel, there are cafes and supermarkets. The hotel is clean, cozy, small, without glamor, the furnitu­re and plumbing are new, like in IKEA, the room cleaning is excellent. There is a kettle and a safe in the room. An impo­rtant advantage of the hotel is the hotel team. From the beg­inning of the holiday and every day: sin­cere friendliness and disposition towards guests from all em­ployees: reception, cleaning, security, repair team. They we­lcome you as a valued guest and try to make your vacation wo­nderful. The recepti­onist smiles, stands up, greets those en­tering, the security guard will open the door, help you throw out the trash, smi­le, issues are resol­ved instantly (there were nuances with the safe, with water, with the room set up): the staff solves the problem without delay, which is very convenient and ple­asant. I would espec­ially like to thank the reception staff: Aop, Achi, Beer, Ja­ck. They always tried to find kind words, talk, help with re­commendations or with a taxi, made compl­iments on fruits, ga­ve coupons for dinner and a cafe at the hotel, we were very happy to take a photo with such wonderful people as a souven­ir.
