Mera Mare Pattaya — Hotel in Pattaya City

The location of Mera Mare is solid because it starts you near the north of beach road and all the 10 baht truck taxis flow south. There’s always a few moped guys out front, a huge sidewalk and underground parking. The look of the hotel is kinda film noir, lots of stone used throughout the lobby and rooms, shower and tub. Interesting darker stone in places, classical style, comfortable beds, fantastic balcony design for privacy.

If you dig into the 1-star reviews some people are just delusional. This guys shows up at 10am and demands to check in 5 hours early with a free room upgrade because his other plans got cancelled (check-in is at 3pm).

Some 5-star amenities are sub-optimal. There should be drawers for clothes under the counters, the bathroom counter space needs to be bigger. I’ve seen 5 stars in Pattaya that have dinette/cooking areas. You gotta have an iron and ironing board already in the rooms.

A pair of complementary drinks were provided upon arrival at the beautiful glassed in restaurant out front. Sometimes I need the a/c to be like Antarctica to get a good night sleep and Mera Mares a/c works VERY well. Mini bar amenities are great. To be fair this is closer to a 4 star hotel with 5 star location. For example the Arbour is nicer, for comparable money, but Mera Mare’s location is 10...

It was my first time visiting the Mera Mare Pattaya, and I was immediately impressed by its sophisticated, contemporary design. As I walked into the lobby, I was greeted by a spacious, well-lit area with sleek, modern furnishings. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.My room was just as impressive. It was a good size with a king-sized bed and a private balcony that offered a beautiful view of the city. The room was meticulously clean and well-appointed with all the amenities I could need, including a large flat-screen TV and a minibar. The bathroom was spotless, and the rain shower was a nice touch. I also appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee.One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop infinity pool. It offered a stunning panoramic view of the beach and was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel is also in a prime location, close to the beach and within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and shopping centers in the area.Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Mera Mare Pattaya. This is our second stay at the Mera mare first in 2023 and most recently August 2025 , the hotel is located central beach road , literally 50m opposite the beach and either direction next to 7/11 and restaurants. About the hotel , the reception lobby , the restaurant are immaculate , the breakfast is fantastic , a huge choice of salads / continental / Thai food for you to choose from 10/10 for breakfast , the staff are superb and will do anything to make your stay a better one . |Our first stop In 2023 we had a twin delux sea view room this time just a deluxe twin room ,the room itself we were very disappointed with , my philosophy is oh you’re only sleeping in there , however the rooms are very out dated , mould along the silicone around the shower and sink , they are desperate to be refurbished, it’s not a great look for a supposed 4 star hotel . |Overall location is fantastic , staff are fantastic but if the owners read this please upgrade your rooms you’re spoiling a...
