We booked this hotel at the last minute for a New Year break, as our usual hotel was fully booked.|Made the booking online via Agoda and chose their most expensive room, described as STANDARD and requested a double bed. When we arrived we could immediately see why they still had rooms available. The resort must have been quite impressive back in the day, possibly 10-20 years ago. Everything looked like it hadn’t been updated for years and everything looked tired, broken or just worn out.|The reception desk informed me our request for a double bed was not possible but we could just push the beds together. I mentioned the online booking had confirmed a double was available and they said we had been “upgraded” to a NEW STANDARD room as a courtesy. I wasn’t 100% sure, but I thought this had been one of their cheapest rooms when I booked.|We were shown to the room, which was at the far end of the building, at the back of the hotel, on the third floor with no lift and overlooking a neighbouring roof. The bell boy kindly moved the beds together and rearranged the bedside tables etc. The room was clean and fairly new but very basic, and definitely not to the same standard of the photo of the room we booked.|I returned to reception and said as much, and was met with sneers and derision. The manager insisted this was an upgrade, although I showed him it was less than half the price of the room we had booked online. He then said we could see the room we had booked if we preferred. We were shown a very sorry, obviously unused room that was dirty and run down, but looked the same style as the room we had booked originally. I said we would stay where we were put.|I then contacted Agoda, but so far they are unable to resolve anything.|This hotel is in desperate need of renovating and modernising. I am sure the current owners are just letting the hotel go to rack and ruin. Just look at the...
Read moreIt is one of the few hotels in Pattaya that is also pet-friendly. There is a dedicated store in the reception area of the hotel. pet care is also available. The rooms which allow pets are rather simple, also worn out and the laminate flooring is not the best. There are cracks in the floor and the bathroom is also not the newest. However, the staff are all very friendly and make you feel at home. It was cleaned very clean and the facility is also clean, but here too the facility has seen better times. There should perhaps be some investment to bring the facility back up to date and make it a little more modern, the rooms should also be renovated... The breakfast was also very simple, nothing special, but what was offered was of good quality. I like the fact that older women work in the restaurant, I think it's great that they don't just replace these people. These ladies also make a lot of effort and are very friendly. Overall, the staff are very friendly and courteous. You all are doing a good job 👍🏻 ... by the way, the location is ideal. you are quickly in the city and on the beach and can visit all kinds of restaurants nearby very...
Read moreIt’s a resort hotel by the Jomtien beach with adequate quality of service. The pool is so nice and clean with low level of chlorine so we can swim comfortably without getting red eyes, breakfast is delicious as they serve buffet style food with various dish to choose, from eggs station, selection of bread, Thai food to fresh and healthy salad.
However there are some parts that definitely need improvement. We got the bungalow style room, close to the restaurant and it gets super noisy at night, as the room is made of wood and totally not sound-proof. Air Conditioner seems super old and gets noisy at night while we sleep, so there are moments when we had to turn off the AC to get a quiet night. Pillow is hard and not fluffy at all, quite a disappointment. Room size is quite small and less spacious, more like a lodging house style, than a “resort” hotel. The bathroom is okay, as it’s equipped by a jacuzzi style bathtub that can pamper us during bath time.
Staff needs to have better communication training with the guest, so we’d feel more welcomed and accommodated.
Overall I give this hotel...
