Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Wednesday May8, 2024 walk in at 8.55 pm I and my daughter (15 years old ) we live in the state on long Vacation , I’ve been here by my self a few time I found out there’re minor allow until 10 pm. Today wee came here to enjoy American food and live music. We know we only have 1 hour . We order food and drink every thing was ok. Time passed , The singer said we can request the song. Since nobody request at that time and before ,so we did request 3 song Attach 100 baht tip ( it’s not a lot I know)while singer still sang her song. All other musician read the note that we send then passed the note around to each other discussing about the song. After that the ball guy went to the stage and talk to the singer and the band .( I didn’t know if he a customer who requested the song or staff who work there) After that about 5-7 minute or so , the singer lady show out the note and said “ we will have 15 minute break , we will sing this song requested after we back from the break. That time was 9.48 pm. Then at 10 pm , we got the bill . I did asked one of the staff if I can listening to the song that I requested. He said ok because the band about to start with out singer lady, who said she will sing when she back from the break ( she sat at one corner close to the entrance in moment )

Then the ball guy ( I think he was the same one who went to the stage before the band on a break) came to me and asked “ what song you were requesting ?” I said “ lady marmalade” He said “ oh , ok krup” He walked back to the singer lady who still sat at that corner , didn’t know what they were talking . As we could see from my eyesight ,the singer lady was shaking her head , like a sign of “Refusing or no “ On the stage the band started to play , the singer man sang the song that not one of our requested. Other waiter came and clear our table. Then I asked him if we can listening to our song . He said “no, I am sorry you have to leave it 10 pm” ( which’s I understand because I have a minor)

But , what I wasn’t happy was , if she can’t sing the song why didn’t she walk to me and told me some thing ( and she know we have to leave , they are talking ) It’s common sense and would be polite , if she couldn’t do the requested she should say something and return the tip( I don’t want the tip but I would like to see the responsibility of the professional singer or team for the well known restaurant ) If she did came by my table and said “ we are sorry that we can’t sing your song and you have to leave now . Here ‘s your tip back.” I will feel better and will told them to keep the money with no concern or disappointed.

She didn’t even care , not even look at us when we walk out .she really ignore us , also the band didn’t say a thing.( it’s not a busy day , only a few table .)

If it was the other band ( weekend band)they will asked “which table request this song” ( they will check )

This band pretended like they didn’t know who were requested .

PS. I have been here by my self a few time last month( April 2024) but on the weekend ,it was different band and more professional . I would like my daughter to have good experiences and good time with live music like I did, but it’s so disappointed. I will tell all my friend to not come and hang out here any more . Weena...

This place! Oh man this place! I love this place. I spent a lot of time here recently. I was in Pattaya for a while recently and after having a good experience in the the Hard Rock Cafe in Vientiane, Laos I decided to drop in here a month or more ago. Well I will say as with any cafe, club, or venue where there is music and food it is only a room. What makes the difference is the people. And the people in this place REALLY make the difference. I'll tell you that the people here are some of the nicest most welcoming people that you will meet in all of Pattaya. I'll start off by mentioning Joe. Joe is the best! He made me feel welcome every time I went there. I was there so much you could say we became friends. He will welcome you the same way. Joe, and Pound, who I did not see as much but found Pound to be so nice and welcoming as well. These guys take this place from a being a room to being somewhere that you can go and always feel welcome and noticed. They appreciate that you come by and hang with them and the Hard Rock. They are both guys that seem to manage every aspect of operations there although I don't know what their official titles are. But they seem to handle everything. I was 10,000 miles from home but felt like I had friends there and looked forward to seeing these guy when I went there. And will look for them when I return. I think you will feel the same when you go there. So If you are alone and want to go somewhere and not feel so alone go here. The rest of the staff I found to be very friendly and helpful as well. They don't bother you but when you want something they definitely will take care of whatever i is that you want or need. So Hard Rock DO NOT ever loose Joe or Pound these guys are fantastic. You will know Joe because he has a bunch of dreadlocks and you will see him in the included pictures. Joe is a little bigger of a guy with a big welcoming smile. So as for food. Well... I really cant comment too much on the food because I didn't eat much while I was here. What I had was ok. Now for the band!! The band that plays on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is called the Sweet and Sour Band. They start about 8:30 or 9pm. THEY ARE FANTASTIC! These guys are the best band in Pattaya. And I have to tell you their powerful secret... NISHA. Nisha is the female lead singer and she is great!! Her voice if so beautiful weather she sings a slow song or is belting out a hard rock song. I spent many hours listening to them here at the Hard Rock. She is a real sweetie as well as being beautiful but her voice when she sings really gets me. A couple of other guys in the band sing songs too and they really do a great job also. Btw, all the guys in the band are really friendly and approachable. Request a song and if they know it they will play it for you. The played my favorite song that they do every time I was there. Love you guys!! Go to this place for a really nice evening. Hang with Joe and Pound. Listen to Nisha and the band. I guarantee you wont be sorry. Hard Rock Cafe in Pattaya you are doing it right. You have fantastic people there and it will be the first place I go when I come back. I have to say hi to...
