Chaiwat Guesthouse — Hotel in Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang Subdistrict

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights 30th-2nd Oct 2016 and 9th Oct 2016 , Hotel is very near to all the attractions of Bangkok , grand palace , wat pho are in walking distance , just a ferry away from Wat Arun (ferry costs only 3 baht each side). Its perfect for those who wishes to visit the temple attractions of Bangkok. Hotel have only 5 rooms so not much crowded , Hotel owner is very helpful. rooms were clean. AC and Wi-fi worked perfectly . Although nobody speaks much English , but they tried their best to help us . This hotel can be little tricky to find , there is no sign upfront . There is a photography shop next to the 7-11 shop that is actually the reception as well.In case just ask the 7-11 shop they will guide. If you would like to have a very isolated room ask for room 5(2nd floor) in advance , other rooms have 1 adjacent room in the side. Its also very easy to get to the property by Bus(7 baht per person). take exit 4 from Hua Lumphong MRT and ride Bus 53 , get down at wat pho, travel back 50 meters , it's that simple. we had a very nice stay here and would love to stay again if...

Location was good. It's 350 mtrs from Sanam chai BTS station and just opposite the way Arun temple. Owner asked us to go to rajinee pier by walk and then take a boat to wat Arun ( 16baht pp)and long waiting time. Instead if you go to tha thien pier it's 5 baht pp and 300mtrs to walk.

There is a 7/11 near by. And food places near tha thien pier. Sheets were fresh and smelt good.

Room was nothing like how it looks in picture. We booked the delux room as it is bigger than the standard room and still it was so tiny. No place to open your suitcase/bag. And if you do it in the hallway then you don't have space to walk around. Bathroom is also very congested and the curtain was tied so we couldn't fully close it. Toilet got all wet with the water from shower. Beds were not so comfortable. We had to book 2 days as we arrived early and it was not even worth the price as we went in October month which is still a rainy season.upper floor accessible by narrow...

Guest house location is very perfect to visit all major attractions of BKK including Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Wat Prakaew, Museum Siam (close for renovation until mid of April 2017). Also close to Tha Tiean pier to across Chaopraya river to Wat Arun or other attractions along the river which is very good to absorb originally Bangkok's life style.||I booked the big room with twin bed and private showers. The room is big enough for 2-3 pax, air con works great and wifi is good. There are TV and fridge in the room.|When I saw guesthouse's pics, I am not sure it will be ok for us or not but when the first arrived, I can say it's perfect.
