My visit to Horsamut in Bangkok was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, the incredibly kind staff whisked me away to a riverside seat, perfectly positioned to showcase the breathtaking Wat Arun in the background. It felt like I had stepped into a scene from a postcard—the ultimate spot for capturing unforgettable photos. The restaurant was buzzing with life, every table filled, yet the service remained impeccable. The staff were not just friendly, but exceptionally attentive, making the experience all the more special. And the food—oh, the food! It was a culinary journey through the heart of Thailand, each dish more authentic and delicious than the last. To fully appreciate the enchantment of Horsamut, make sure to book early and aim to arrive around 6 PM to witness the sunset. Trust me, you won’t regret it. This experience deserves nothing less than 5 stars!

Very very nice location. Very stylish interior. The view of Wat Arun and the river is the best! Cocktails are great! Can't say good things about food. This is Thai food but not the best. Tamarind shrimp soup was different. Coud not find food for my kid. Asked if they can make fresh salad from cucumbers and salad leaves, they said absolutely no! I get it, you want to stay with your menu. But for 5 year oled kid it would be nice to make healthy salad because you dont have menu for kids. And in my opinion the service was a bit rude. He told that it is Thai kitchen and seafood restaurant, that they dont have fresh salad. I have been living in BK for over one year now and I love Thai food. You dont have to explain me this! Thank you!

Newly open restaurant along “Cho Praya River”. We love the decor, interior and the attention to the details. It’s stylish and beautiful . The view of the sunset with Wat Arun as a backdrop, the temples near by and the river with boats passing by, all of these are undeniable a reason be in this spot in Bangkok. Food is not up to the level of the venue. You can find a better Thai food in the area but people may overlook the quality or the flavors of the food compared with the view and ambiance. Drinks are good and the service is good . Price is on the high side but considering the setting of the restaurant is understandable. We hope there will be a lot to improve as it just opened about a month ago.

It is one of the eateries with the best view of Wat Arun. There is an outdoor rooftop bar on the second floor. Advanced bookings are recommended, as the place fills up during dinner times, even on weekdays. They accept cash, QR code payments, and credit cards. The food is delicious. I haven't tried their wine selection myself, but I was told by their staff that the prices are reasonable. In addition to local draght beers (Chang, Singha), they offer two Thai craft beers. This restaurant is a prime spot to watch the sunset. There is some limited parking available in the alley (soi Tha kam ท่าข้าม). Alternatively, you can take the MRT and get off at Sanamchai Station, exit 5.
