One of the worst experiences i’ve had in restaurants. The atmosphere was absolutely incredible, the views are immaculate, but when when it comes to everything else, such a big big disappointment. The food was terrible and inauthentic, we ordered the pad thai, ribeye, green curry, and grilled squid (we also ordered a pomelo salad but they forgot to bring it), and for drinks we ordered coconut water and watermelon juice. The pad thai was horrible, the shrimp was fully black from the grill and the whole dish itself was very bad. The ribeye was a mixture of everything they grill in the restaurant, it tasted more like old charcoal and fish than anything else, the grill hasn’t been cleaned in a long time for sure. The green curry was unbearably spicy and lacked actual flavor. The squid was full of jelly on the inside and raw. Some reviews say the drinks save it, but well not in my experience, the watermelon juice was frankly the worst one i’ve ever had and the coconut tasted like it had been open for a very long time, tasteless. The service is overall awful, they take a ridiculous amount of time to come to the table and the food takes so long to arrive, and completely spaced out between dishes; when we asked for the menu to order desert it took them around 15 min to come back, and only because i called them again. Ended up not having desert because the menu never came. Honestly a full rip off, there’s no way to justify the lack of professionalism from the employees and the extreme poor quality of the food. The views are beautiful but honestly not worth the minimum spend of 1.000 bath per person. And the unjustified service charge (there is no service here). Do not recommend. I do not understand how the reviews...

This place is only for taking photos, that's it. We're very disappointed with the taste of the food and poor services. Food are too overprice when compare to the taste and services.

I arrived and all staffs seemed to be very busy but it was understandable for dinner time but they were not welcoming until I was looking for my friends as they already arrived but I couldn't find my table and I asked one of the staff who stood by the reception to please show me my table but she told me to call my friend and find it by myself... What is the 10% service charge for??

We were not satisfied with the taste of the food, very inauthentic and portions didn't match with the price..

We asked one of staff to take our group shot photo but he refused to do it straight away and just said sorry he's busy. Yes, we understand he's busy but you can respond to our request in a better way by not just said no and walked away.. made us feel so embarrassed.

I understood you might need a review from the customers and it's find to ask them to please review it for you but I was not happy if you ask and then expect us to do it now then take a photo of our review... it's very in-appropriated way to ask for honest review.. please reconsider it.

We have been in busier places but this place needs better management to handle busy situation and treat customer nicer. We're very disappointed and would not...

Just because we were seated directly in first raw at the top level patio, I give an extra star, as this creates a superb ambiente. Food in itself is ok, but not outstanding, more on the pretentious-side with high prices. On the top level patio, they have a minimum spend of 1.000 TBH/person. All waiters were friendly and kind, always with a smile on their face, however the kitchen and waiters are not well organized: After we were seated, it took them very long to take our orders. Waiting time for the food was ok, however my main course arrived just a few minutes after my starter, which ment it was quite cold when I started to eat it, whereas my wife waited quite long for her main course. If you charge a service fee upfront, then this needs to be well aligned. Also, the food wasn’t very warm. On top: All prices on the menu are EXCLUDING tax, which is a very cheap trick. They screw you on the service we as well, because they add it BEFORE tax, meaning you don’t pay 10% service fee, but actually 18%, which - like already mentioned - they charge upfront, so can’t skip it. All in all, we wouldn’t come back, as you can get better food for the same price or cheaper food for the same taste in a lot of places. The view is very nice, but as we already experienced it, why should we come back?

Like many people here we had a high expectation of this place but the experience wasn't great at all. Our family came for a quick lunch after all the touristy activities hoping for a nice beautiful lunch. The place was beautiful, the food was average and the service was terrible for a “high class looking place and price”. We sat at an indoor table close to the terrace entrance and the sun was blasting at us, like blasting. Half of us had to endure the heat and had to repeatedly asked them to bring down the window shade to cover us but they say ‘it’s not possible’ (they cared out the look of the restaurant more than us be grilled alive). We then asked to change the table because we couldn’t take it anymore (they didn’t offer to change, we requested to change) and even so, it took them another 20mins to clean the empty tables for us to change. I kid you not, the land of smile was no where near this restaurant because they did not smile once from the time we entered the restaurant and we left without anyone saying goodbye. Didn’t take photo of the sun but you can imagine how the sun was shining on the food was how it was shining on us.

Horsamut: Riverside Dining with an Iconic View Horsamut is a beautifully decorated restaurant perched alongside the Chao Phraya River, boasting views of both Wat Arun and Wat Kanlayanamit. It’s accessible via boat (with nearby boat stations), MRT, and by car (though parking is limited). The restaurant offers indoor seating, an open-air area, and a rooftop perfect for sunset views. The menu features a wide array of dishes that deliver excellent taste with a slight premium price tag. Highlights include Pranburi egged squid, crab roe relish, and honey pomelo salad. Other must-try dishes are the stir-fried crab meat with yellow chili and kaffir leaves, deep-fried cotton fish with sundried shrimp and pickled garlic, and Chainart featherback fishcakes with chili paste. If you enjoy unique flavors, the slow-cooked pork belly with tamarind glaze and roasted river prawn pad Thai are exceptional. A wine cellar and crafted beer selection further enhance the dining experience. The attentive staff and exquisite setting make it a prime spot for a memorable meal. Just remember to request less spice if you’re sensitive!
