The sushi and other food here is by far the best in Phuket. Way better than the other chain japanese restaurants you find around Thailand. Occasionaly they have some specials from Japan that are especially yummi. I.e. blue fin tuna nigiri or sashimi for only 250 bhat. Ingredients quality is at the base of the success. The pollock roe on rice (don) at 99 bath is very tasty and possibly the best value for money. Never had it before after hundreds of sushi outings worldwide. The place could do with a makeover but is like many good japanese restaurants around the world where food rules rather than the furnishings. Even my Japanese friend was satisfied with it. Servers are a nice bunch of smiling Thai ladies which help with the rather subdue atmosphere. However the service lags the food. 4 stars are on an international scale and if applied to only Thailand would...

I ask the management to take a closer look at the cameras, otherwise you will be left...

Also they make fruit shakes seemingly from some concentrates. We ordered mango shake without sugar, and they brought us something really weird. The color was pale and it was completely tasteless. They usually either put a very little amount of mango and just add tons of sugar to make it taste like a real mango, or use some concentrate - no idea why. There are tons of sweet fruits all around, yet they managed to make something disgusting. Never experienced that before. When we asked about it, the staff just replied "Well, you ordered it with no sugar", like we were completely dumb and didn't know how mango...
