What a horrible experience. Our first hours moving to Rawai and trying to enjoy a nice dinner sea side. Place looks great and so does the food if you get what you order. I think they are hurting financially so they cut you out of the best part of your dinner. I ordered the pineapple bowl with shrimp and seafood and all I got was five pieces of shrimp and some fried rice. My wife who is Thai ordered this huge platter that was supposed to come with chicken wings and when the platter Caine there was no chicken on it and they claimed that she ordered the smaller platter which didn’t even exist on the menu. We literally had to fight them have them bring out the chicken, but at this point we have lost her appetite and we’re so sad what just happened to both of us. When we asked to speak to an owner or manager, they said nobody was available to speak to us and that the kitchen wasn’t willing to modify her orders in anyway so we found a phone number and call the owners and at that point, they decided to bring chicken out, but it was too late for us. We were done.. I don’t recommend this place purely on the dishonesty the employees of this company, and how the ownership manages their employees....
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service. When we first went in, the staff were under pressure and the look on the lady's face really said it all. I said, do you want us to leave? Anyway ordered then 1 hour passes and some of our dishes turn up. I had to then chase up the others which took at least another 10 minutes. That's not everything, I had finished my food and it was then that my wife's turned up (only a tuna sandwich). They were reasonably busy but obviously couldn't handle the pressure. If they are short staffed and struggling, an idea would be to close off some of the tables. People were sitting down waiting, no staff came and then walking out. I did walk across to the main area to see if I could speak to someone but it just looked like total chaos. I don't like giving bad reviews and I did make our feelings known to the staff but don't think that really mattered. We are in Rawai until Wednesday morning. If there is a reply to this review I would be happy to come and discuss with the owner/manager tomorrow,...
Read moreWe were out on a day tour so we asked our driver to take us to a local restaurant to have lunch. He brought us to Mae Klong. Upon arrival, we were met by a few young ladies with umbrellas who escorted us into the restaurant. They were so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has ample seating inside and outside but we opted to sit inside as it was very hot. We were super hungry so we ordered some appetizers which were tasty, then mains, which arrived shortly after. The food was made fresh to order so it was hot and tasty. The portions are rather ample and there was enough to share with some leftovers even. The staff were so friendly and they engaged in conversation with us and we were made to feel to welcome! We had a delicious brunch and we had an awesome...
