I stayed here for 5 nights, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, despite the hotel’s very convenient location. The area is surrounded by shopping centers, street food, McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Watsons, and several pharmacies — which is definitely a plus. However, everything inside the room fell short.
There are no amenities: no pool, no restaurant, no breakfast, no activities — not even a bar (which was closed throughout our stay). The room itself was very small, and the bathroom/WC setup was not ideal. With an open ceiling design, the toilet and shower are essentially part of the sleeping area, so humidity and unpleasant odors quickly spread into the room.
Working in the room was difficult, as there was no proper desk or workspace for a laptop. Even more frustrating was the mosquito problem — the room was full of them, despite us never opening the window during our stay.
The noise levels were unbearable, especially on the weekends. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of a mall, and there is a karaoke venue directly above on the 4th floor. Loud music, deep bass, and banging sounds constantly echoed into the room, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep.
Housekeeping was average — while they tidied the room and replaced water and towels daily, the pillowcases and bed sheets were not changed at all during our 5-night stay, which was disappointing. The slippers provided were also extremely thin and felt very cheap.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and responsive, particularly the lady at reception who kindly allowed us to check in one hour early and was quick to assist with small requests like bringing extra water.
While the surrounding area is convenient, it’s also extremely busy and crowded, which means getting a Grab, Bolt, or taxi often took longer than expected due to traffic congestion.
In summary, if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable place to relax or work, this is probably not the best option. For the same price point, there are certainly better alternatives...
