Yello Rooms Hotel Victory Monument — Hotel in Thanon Phaya Thai Subdistrict

There is a stairs right in-front of our hotel to get down from the bridge,so the hotel is really easy to be reached. rights in front of the hotel is a victory monument market, its full with cloth-food stalls, i am so exited with windows shopping. The Hotel staff are really great welcoming, even its a small lobby but the security open the door for us, the receptionist also very kind and full of smiles I loved. Our room is at 3rd floor, no lift but taking the stairs is just ok to 3rd floor. The surprise is behind our hotel room door. Once we open the door we can see right after our Bed , there is a big clear glass window, as big as from side to side our room. the view from this window are the bridge and the market, and above the bridge is BTS, as we see the train passing in every 10 minutes, which dakkaruw love it soo much. I can tell this hotel room is big, the bed is king size, with clean white bed sheet and 4 big pillows and also 2 cushion. Big space for our luggage and big table completed with enough size TV and electricity stuff. The carpet is soft and clean, the space is enough for all of us sit on the carpet or even dakkaruw could play his toys and laying around. The big bathroom is on a right side after we close the door, complete with bidet and shower, its yellow, clean, hot water of course available and another interesting things in the bathroom is there are 2 type of top to toe soap, night and day type, it has two different smells, very unique and i love both. On the first day, the bedding was not clean. There were stains on both the pillowcases and mattress. On the second day, they came to clean, but they didn't do it until around 2 PM. Originally, I had asked them to clean the room around 11:30 AM and made an effort to leave the room early for them. In the end, they didn't notify me beforehand that they actually clean rooms around 2 PM. So I went out and came back, and it still wasn't done. Then I went out again so they could come clean the room because the staff finish at 4 PM. It's good that they managed to clean it in time, but there shouldn't have been stains of that size on the first day. The water pressure was low. Everything else was normal. The only good things were that it was very close to the BTS station and the decoration was beautiful with nice lighting. As for shower caps, cotton buds, cotton pads and such things, you need to request them as they're not provided...

One thing I was not satisfied with was the inconsistent water temperature. We requested an iron at night but did not receive one, and had to ask again the next morning. No toiletries were provided either. We had to ask too.

The location is convenient for walking, about 10 minutes to one 7-Eleven and around 20 minutes to another. However, Grab car pickup was less convenient, as we had to go to the other side of the building.

I appreciated the nice touch of the large window and the in-room amenities, including a fridge, water bottles, tea, kettle, hairdryer, and TV.
