Hôtel Plaza Corniche — Hotel in Tunis

When entering this restaurant I had high hopes. Walking in it was a busy and a seemingly cool atmosphere. We were sat on a table of 6, but promised to be moved to a beach view table when one comes available. ||Upon Receiving the menus (all in French) we were stuck for choice and confused as what to order. Our waiter approached the table to take our orders half of us knew what to have then all of a sudden another waiter approached the table to say we could move to another table. The waiter taking our order didn’t like the fact that the other waiter was moving us to his area. They stated to argue at our table this became very irate and unprofessional. They both walk off in a heated argument. we where left with half orders taken. ||After 10/15mins of hand waving and trying to get attention another waiter finally approached our table. We had no idea what order was taken. Our original waiter came back with such an attitude and wanted nothing to do with us. Me and my friends found this VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. |and where left with no idea what to do. ||We confronted him as to what was going on and he just had an attitude back for no apparent reason. He walks off again!!!! |Another waiter comes over to take our order after 10 more minutes of trying to get someone’s attention. He then FINALLY takes our order. After 15/20mins our food comes but only for 3 our of the 6 people dining. After asking for another 20/25 minutes!!! The food comes also with drinks being delayed for so so long. It’s like no one cared and wanted us gone.||Would highly recommend people to not visit this restaurant as there is many many other better places. ||Utterly disappointed with the unprofessional waiters, long wait time and rude custom....

Omg one of the worst experience I had in La Marsa.||Idk about the hotel but the bar/restaurant is VERY bad||I'm talking about the service here, not the food (I didn't get my order so I wouldn't know)||They literally don't care about you if you don't order big expensive diches. They will stand right next to you, while you wave like a crazy person, and smoke their god d*mn cigarettes without a care in the world. They will make fun of you if you don't speak arabic and talk trash in your back to others customers/waiters.||||45 minutes to get a coffee and water. Had to remind them of my order 2 times until I gave up and told them not to do it.||||For people who don't come to La Marsa often/Tourists, trust me, their is plenty of other places where you can get alcohol and waiters will actually respect you ...||DON'T GO THERE, they don't...

We were looking to have some seafood and some beers, went to this hotel as it was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed.||||To start with this is a hotel with a large restaurant and a nightclub downstairs. The good thing is the restaurant is divided into Sections so i am guessing it can sit around 500 guests at one time. Reservation is a must otherwise one may have to wait for hour to get a seating. It helps to bring a friend along who know the staff as you can get served promptly otherwise one may have to wait for an hour. We were lucky as our local friend was a regular here and knew the manager. We had plenty of fresh seafood which was delicious and they serve alcohol too. Enjoyed our visit to this restaurant and will definitely visit again.||||We did not visit the nightclub though.. maybe next time so i can...
