We were stay for 7 days but had to leave on day 5 after having no hot water for 3 days, we were told it would be fixed multiple times and it was not done, when we requested that a refund of our tariff be given so that we could find other accomodation it was refused. The room was unclean and not the room we had booked, it had a small kitchenette but not enough crockery or cutlery for 2 people e.g 1 bowl for 2 people you can't even make breakfast! One of the chairs for sitting at the bench was broken, the duvet for the bed was for one person only, luckily we always travel with a blanket. Communication from the owner to his staff was poor at best, non existent most of the time. The staff were very friendly, helpful and I feel very sorry that they must work for this man. We missed 2 tours due to not being able to shower and having to hang around the room waiting for things to be fixed, no apology for this inconvenience either. The good thing about this place was the friendly staff and proximity to Taksim square and Istaklil Cd. We were informed by local people that the neighbourhood is not safe and my husband did have someone try to pickpocket his backpack. I hope you do...
Read moreFor its prices, it worths those stars. All in all the stuff is friendly and helpful and my stay was quiet. The room was quite small and the curtains were necessary because you are too close with the building across. The shower misses a door. They didn't have full sheets but rather two small ones. There were two towels (bath towels, there was not even one for hands or face), one of them being too small and overworn. If you take a shower you have to leave the balcony door open because otherwise it starts to smell and feel a little moldy (bad air flow system maybe?). The heating mode of the air-condition didn't work but it wasn't needed because the weather was good. The best was that they kept our luggages before check-in and after check-out. For me these things didn't matter but someone else might have a different opinion. The only downside that did matter was the neighborhood: during the day it's ok and close to istiklal, but at night it was a bit scary, I wouldn't recommend it for...
Read moreStay was amazing, clean place, friendly staff, flexible with timings, good location... however there's no lift so if you don't mind talking the stairs it's a great place to stay, staff will help you with the luggage though. Also if you choose to open the window you'll get a good amount of the city noises during the day, it gives a nice flavor to your stay in my opinion, and you could always shut the window if you want to...
