The Kocadon is a lovely small hotel situated 100 meters or so off Bodrum's main area of restaurants, music venues, shopping bazaar, and harbor marina filled with hundreds of beautiful sailing boats. An ancient Crusader castle is located there where it houses a world class archeological museum of Bronze Age, Greek, and Bysantine era ships that wrecked along the unforgiving Anatolia coast over thousands of years. The rooms were very comfortable, roomy enough and clean, the AC worked very well and the breakfast was a joy to wake up to! We ate in the courtyard in the back of the hotel-Turkish or Americano coffee, choice of eggs and a bevy of fruits, yogurt, jams, cheese and breads would appear.
