We weren’t planning to leave a review, but after paying, the waitress asked us to, so here it is.
We didn’t receive menus and had to go grab them ourselves. Then we had to place our order at the bar and even struggle to get the staff’s attention. It felt like we were doing their job.
We both love dogs and have nothing against dogs being around where food is served. But the two dogs, apparently belonging to the waitress, were barking non-stop, got into a fight with each other, and were clearly not socialized. They barked at customers for no reason and made the atmosphere very loud and uncomfortable.
We waited about 30 minutes just for water and coffee! Place was not even busy at that time, just few people which were about to finish their meals. The americano was very poor quality and tasted like burnt instant coffee.
The only good thing was the food itself, it was genuinely tasty.

Read moreI love this place — honestly one of my favorite spots in Bodrum city center. It’s cozy, fresh, and comfortable, and it truly feels like you’re sitting in your grandma’s backyard while she’s cooking just for you. The vibe is so warm and welcoming you just don’t want to leave.
The menu isn’t huge, but everything on it is amazing — in my opinion, that’s what keeps the quality so high. Their sandwiches are ridiculously fresh and flavorful, and the prices are crazy good for what you get.
The staff here is the sweetest — they treat you like a friend, not just a customer. You can tell they really care about making sure you’re happy. There’s only one chef and everything’s made from scratch, so it might take a little longer, but honestly, that just adds to the charm. My family and I didn’t mind one bit because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the people, this place is an absolute gem....
Read moreI travelled alone for a day trip in Bodrum and the Café Bistro Frenk made an important part of my positive impression of Bodrum. With the view to the sea and the authentic and wholesome decoration I felt to have arrived at a special location. I had a pineapple ginger homemade drink and a healthy yummy avocado toast (somehow better than a normal avocado toast 😋)- perfectly fresh on a hot day ... and the living is easy. I loved the family vibe around with a cute dog and kids playing in the street. Also for travellers who travel alone, there is so much to see around or to grab a book. Also I tried to practise my tiny bits of Turkish which was responded very positively (answers slowly in Turkish and English 😉). Team Frenk, keep on going! If I come back to Bodrum this is where...
